Sunburn skin savers

I love Nivea moisturising cream in the blue tub on cunburn as it is so rich and creamy and soothes the skin. Does anyone else have tips on how to soothe sunburn?

fresh aloe is the best, also the gel form of aloe seems to work better than lotions on my skin.

Yeah I know that using fresh aloe vera is incredibly effective on sunburn. Not sure why – maybe it revitalizes the skin. The bottled varieties just aren`t so effective. With fresh aloe the skin my skin is never red the next day (when I burn – which is extremely rare, but on odd occasion).
