Remedy required for sunburn

Please no lecture. I put sunscreen on my face and arms but forgot my neck. I wore a hat and tried to stay under an umbrella but spent the day operating an outdoor stall for a fundraiser.
Well my neck ended up burnt.
I’m looking for any advice to lessen the redness and help my skin recover.
Many thanks.

rub an aloe vera leaf on it ( if you have your own plant) i find it calms it instantly and pretty much doesnt makr it burn anymore…. works for me anyway… good luck 😀

I ususally use the alove vera cream that comes in a bottle or tons of moisturiser. Remember to drink plenty of water!!!!

I get burnt a lot and I always use Aloe Vera straight after – it helps a lot! Sometimes I don`t even peel! Like most people said, taking it straight from the Aloe Vera plant itself is best. But my favourite Aloe Vera Gel in a bottle would probably be Banana Boat, other types I`ve tried always make me feel so stingy and make my eyes feel like they`re burning as well but the Banana Boat one doesn`t at all!

I so feel for you..that was me last year after the cricket 🙁
That 100% Aloe vera gel works..it`s more concentrated than your regular gel. I`ve seen it in supermarkets in the health or vitamin section.
No doubt there will be bubbling and peeling..I just kept my skin well moisturised with cocoa butter and once it turned into a tan I started exfoliating gently to try and even out my tone. Good luck!

oooooh…Noosa!!! That`s one of my favourite words!!! hehee

Miss L don`t worry – I got slightly burnt in Noosa a couple of weeks ago – I`ve been shedding skin for a few days now! I did contemplate the moisturise lots compared to not much – thinking maybe if it`s dry it`ll flake off faster, or it could work the other way around. Either way, nothing you can do but wait for it to all come off – then lots of moisturising for sure!

slather on some moisturising products , and cling wrap your things , yes cling wrap lol … it will soften the skin and may help it to peel a bit better and lessen the chance of scaring .
