Need a fair toned and organic (or at least natural) BB cream or tinted moisturiser with at least 15 SPF – help please

Hi!

I’m new here and not sure if I’m posting in the right forum (apologies if I am).

I’m having a very hard time finding an organic BB cream or tinted moisturiser with at least 15 SPF that is gentle enough for my hyper- sensitive skin. I’m also very fair so the few products I’ve found have been far too dark or don’t have enough SPF.

I’ve tried:
– Garnier BB Oil Free in Light which gave in terrible rash and was too dark (and reminded me to stay away from chemicals)
– Physicians Formula is Fair to Ivory which had great ingredients but was far too dark and
– Nude By Nature which was light enough but steaks and has barely any SPF.

I have damaged skin on my face which isn’t that visible because I keep out of the sun, but I’m told by a dermatologist that I would burn in a second and get hyperpigmentation patches everywhere if I didn’t (I already have feint marks).

Any help would be appreciated!

For my fair and very sensitive skin I use the light tinted spf30 “invisble zinc” and the “she” pure magic primer over shiny areas to finish.

Tanja692, with my fair and very sensitive skin I had a very bad reaction to Invisible Zinc.

I was just thinking of starting a thread on this topic so thanks! I’m also fair, cool skin tone & in dire need of an organic/natural BB cream or tinted moisturiser with SPF. All the popular generic ones are always orange-based. So annoying!

Anyway, some good suggestions here! 🙂

I really want to try the Asian BB Creams now. I don’t care if they have any extra whitening effect because I happen to love pale skin!

It sounds like they’re just going down cup sizes…

I’ve checked out some Asian creams and I can’t buy stuff that doesn’t list their ingredients so they might be awesome but I want to know what I’m putting on my face. I guess the hunt continues for me… I wish pale was back in fashion again!

The whole bb thing is confusing me! And now there’s a new cc cream here or coming out, does anyone know how and why you use it?

CC = Colour correction. They feel thicker than BB creams in my opinion, and feel a lot like a foundation than a tinted moisturiser (Basically what Western BB creams are).

Just to confuse you even more there… DD creams are in existence… Apparently they’re ‘Dynamic Do-alls’…

Fairly sure they’re all quite similar. Though DD creams are marketed towards doing all that BB and CC creams do, with anti-ageing elements.

The ‘whitening effect’ doesn’t really bleach the skin, even minorally. I’d say there are a few things lost in translation. Some do help in smoothing hyperpigmentation though. I’m sure there are ones out there that -do- whiten the skin, however I have not come across this as yet. Nor have I noticed my skin changing shade.

I can’t really use Western BB creams etc due to the lighter colours are never really light enough, or their tone is different to my skintone.

You -can- get mineral BB creams, that are alledgedly natural, however I haven’t looked into these. My skin is super sensitive and hasn’t reacted badly to the Korean BB creams.
