my skins weird – tanning ?

hey girls 🙂
just wondering if anyone else has this issue or knows how to fix it.

the skin on my legs, thighs in particular,
tans really well in the sun and takes alot for it to burn..

but the skin on my arms is different.
i dont know how this is possible,
but what happens is, in day to day sun it doesnt really change colour, but when it gets burnt, it turns dark..
sort of la faded middle-eastern colour.

but then it peels off cos of the damage.

my question is,
how can i get my arms and shoulders the same as my legs ?

xoxo

Really in this day and age with all of the awareness about skin cancer we shouldn’t be tanning in the sun at all anyway. I would go for a good fake tan and apply it to your legs and arms etc and that way your tan will always be the same without any damaging effects of the sun that ages us something chronic 😉

My legs barely tan but my arms get quite dark. I just assumed it was because my arms got so much more exposure. I wouldn’t worry about it – I don’t tend to notice whether peoples arms and legs are the same colour so in sure no one is noticing it on you…it’s prob one of those things that irks you bur no one else would even notice unless you pointed it out to them.

I don’t think it is unusual for different parts of the body to tan differently. The plumpness and texture of the skin varies on the body and the skin that is less exposed can tend to burn faster. Have no idea how you can change this unless you use fake tan to even the tan on your entire body.
