Le tan self tanning mousse

I just went out and bought this and I have a few questions.
Can I put it on my face, will it work?
Also how do I get it all over my body whilst I’m by myself?!
I didn’t really think it through because I’m going to put it on and have patches of pale where I can’t reach!
Does any one know the best way to apply the mousse and how long will it last?
My best bet is to exfoliate like hell and give it a whirl, but I really don’t want to look patchy! Help!

    No that’s great! I only just saw it now, but I did my tan again today as I have my sixteenth birthday party on the weekend (yay me!)
    But lucky for me, I did all this without knowing!
    Besides the gloves. I just wash my hands after doing a body part, dry them and do it again.
    Because I do like my palms having a bit of color.
    Thankyou!

    I absolutely love the Le Tan mousse and it is probably my favorite fake tan product ever! I have tried so many and I always come back to this one because none compare to the quality and price.

    Here is a few tricks that I have come up with when using this product and I hope that they will help you:

    • you can use it on your face, I have pretty sensitive skin and it has never caused me a breakout. After you apply it it looks like the rest of your body, although I find that fake tan fades faster on my face than the rest of my body

    • make sure you use gloves otherwise you will have orange hands. I just buy the cheap ones from woolworths that are similar quality to the ones you receive when you colour your hair;

    • make sure you moisturise on your elbows and knees, it tends to build up there as with any other fake tanning product;

    • the mousse is coloured so you can see exactly where you have applied it on your skin and which spots you have missed. Because of this I have never had streaks or a blothcy tan because I could see exactly what I was doing

    • Im relatively flexible so apply it all over my body with the gloves and check in the mirror to see if I have missed a spot. You could always put some bathers on and ask a friend to apply it on your back if you cannot reach by yourself. My friends have told me that they apply fake tan by themselves by putting it on an old towel and then rubbing that on their back. As I said, you can see exactly where you have applied the mousse so there is no chance you will miss a spot

    • if you moisturise every day, the tan will last around 4-5 days. I find that by the end of the week it starts to peel off so I scrub it all off and apply again

    • yes, definitely exfoliate before you apply it and it will give you a more even result and will last longer

    Ummm…..thats about it….it does develop relatively quickly (around 5-8 hours) but I’m impatient so I sleep with it and wash it in the morning. It does rub off on my sheets but the sheets are like brand new after I wash them. Its all a personal choice about whether you wait around for it to develop or sleep with it. I have had great results both ways.

    Sorry for the long post and I really hope that it helps you and let me know whether you like it
