Ultrasonic vs Clarisonic

So i was looking at the new priceline catalogue and i saw a product like the clarisonic called the Harmony Home Spa Ultrasonic
heres what it says it features:

Handy built-in timer. Cordless design. Waterproof for use in shower. Adjustable power levels. Gentle cleanse, soften & smooth your skin.

So i have been lusting over the clarisonic for a while now, but i have been putting off because of the price tag.. do you think this is a dupe? I don’t want to waste my money if its not as good as the clarisonic and i could of just paid a bit more for the real thing…

it is on sale at priceline this month 20% off for $79, heres the link: http://priceline.dynamiccatalogue.com.au/portal/offerdetails/ultrasonic_cleansing_brush/13327577459224?gotopage=1&CatalogueID=13316818970044&CatalogueID=&source=catalogueoffer&jump=&pageview=two

has any one heard of these/used one/have one, any thoughts?

One of my friends pointed out the other day that you can buy the Clarisonic Mia from the Clarisonic Australia website for $94!! Free shipping too! Apparently they also stock the Mia 2 which I haven’t seen in Australia before. So is only $25 more expensive…. probably more reasons to go with the original Clarisonic brand rather than some random one? Just a thought

I love my clarisonic Mia, it gets my skin so clean! I wouldn’t risk buying a cheaper unknown product, you can’t be sure as to how well it will work. You’re probably better of just saving a little more and then being able to buy the clarisonic!

I’ve never tried this one but the Clarisonic is the best beauty product I have ever bought. Last week I left mine at the gym & it was thrown out… I didn’t even hesitate & went straight to the shops to buy a new one even though it has an initial high investment it is worth every dollar because you save on buying lots of products that don’t work.

Hi I puchased the harmony home spa for my wife from priceline and she was basically very happy with the results. unfortunately after two weeks the brushes fell apart, returned to priceline who replaced the complete item. Again after two weeks use the second one also fell apart .priceline again replaced the item for a third time from new stock that had just arrived. after the second set of brushes fell apart i sent an email direct to harmony home spa complete with photographs as they requested . i had asked them if they had this problem before and also asked them did they think they may have a serious manufacturing fault. They thanked me for my email and admitted they had a report of this before, only once though. they also asked if i could let them know how my wife got on with the third one we received from Priceline. Guess what !!! the third one has now fallen apart and we are yet to inform Priceline & Harmony home spa. I cannot believe they do not have a serious problem with their brush manufacturing as we now have had three complete product replacements . If three out of three have failed, surely there must have been a lot of other customers who have experienced the same problem

I have bought for myself a Harmony Home Spa Ultrasonic brush and have been using it for 4months now. I have few bumps around the chin and blackhead on the nose. It doesn’t seem to clear it as much. I do find the brush head a little bit dense and harsh on the skin. But if I put the brush head under warm water it will soften it a bit. I seen the Clarisonic brush is bit more softer, but some people do find the Sensitive brush head doesn’t do a very deep clean compare to the Deep Clean Brush head
I am considering on buying the Clarisonic brush to see the difference.

I hope someone tries this out! it’s expensive but i guess if you have the clairsonic, you would probably not get the ultrasonic…so it’ll be difficult to compare the two… But for now, i’m trying to use of all my exfoliators and cleansers (lol they’ll last me 5 years for sure)
I actually wish more companies would come out the dupes …More choice = cheaper! 🙂

I just noticed this in the latest Priceline catalogue and was wondering the same thing! Anyone had a look at one or bought one yet?

I can’t comment on that one as I haven’t tried it, but I have the Clarisonic Mia and I really love it! They recently dropped the prices in Australia so it’s down to $149 which is only about $30 more than the US, so not too bad.. I really like it and feel it does a good job of cleansing my skin properly and getting the dirt and oil out of my pores. I ordered mine off http://www.bellahart.com.au/ while they were having a discount, so keep an eye out for those!
