The Cult of CeraVe!

CeraVe products are my HG of skincare products.

Prior to them launching in Australia, I would import from iHerb and VitaCost.

I’m so stoked they are stocked in Australia now and that they are now listed on Beautyheaven.

If you use anything in the range, which are your favourites?

I’m a CeraVe evangelist!!

I came into a lot of samples recently of the moisturising lotion and I thought it was a hand cream lol! I only just realised recently that its for the face! but I suppose using it elsewhere is fine.

If anyone works for a GP, register for the samplesnow program. Its usually medicines only but occasionally they do hand creams etc. Samples now is the same as samples plus but you can order more often.

      This is good to know.

My cousin`s wife is a GP.

      I`ll let her know…

I had the chance to try its Moisturising Lotion, and I must say, it is very impressive! Absolutely love it!

Thank you for sharing this. I have never heard of the brand before.
I see that they are selling in chemist warehouse now, will check them out!

CeraVe is the only moisturizer I’ve tried that literally works overnight. I have ‘thick’ skin. The good thing about it is I don’t have bad reaction easily to skin care in general, I can even use bar soap on my face without any effect. The bad thing is, well, it’s hard to find skin care that gives visible improvement. Granted I use CeraVe for my body but it impresses me nonetheless. My son’s dry skin also improves overnight using it.

Thanks for posting about CeraVe Lucy16 as I’d never heard of it before.

I was just as excited when Cerave launched at Chemist Warehouse at very reasonable prices!

Their products are developed with dermatologists and are great for sensitive skin, and also contain good ingredients. For example their basic mositurising lotion has hyaluronic acid and ceramides. IMO it’s a step above Cetaphil.

Still haven’t tried their cleansers that I know have a cult following.

      Hi jupiter,

It is so much cheaper than buying from iHerb or VitaCost.

I love that I can purchase the moisturising lotion by the litre.

CeraVe`s formulas offer me lasting relief unlike Cetaphil.

While I like QV, it just doesn’t compare to CeraVe.

When L`Oreal took over CeraVe, there were many who were nervous the formula would change; if anything, the formula has improved!

The creams and lotions manufactured in France are paraben free…

Cetaphill never did anything to help me. I find Dermeze helps in the shower but I have to use it with cold water. It`s okay in summer to do that but in winter brrrrrrrrrr.

I have become a real L’Oreal fan with so many of their products but this is something that I have not heard of. Again, I have not been out in the ‘beauty’ world or looking for or using much in the past couple of months anyway. Perhaps this will be something that BH offers members to trial too.

I can’t get enough of the Moisturising Cream, Moisturising Lotion, Moisturising Lotion PM, Hydrating Cleanser, Hydrating Cleanser Bar and Foaming Cleanser.

Maybe I should buy shares in L’Oreal?

Hey Lucy – on your recommendation on another thread somewhere, I went and got the Moisturising Cream about 2 weeks ago and it is really good for my problem area. I was able to ditch the cortisone cream once the itch had subsided and now apply the Moisturiser.

Thanks for that because I have so many lotions, potions and creams here and nothing would work on my arms. So lovely to be itch free and my arms are totally moisturised now. I tried to find the Cleansing Bar but they didn`t have any in at the time. Maybe next time 🙂

Oh wow, didn`t know the brand was on BH either. Can do a review then 🙂

        Heya jatz,

        That’s wonderful to hear.

Itchy dry skin can be torturous.

I’m so glad it’s working for you.

If CeraVe wasn`t available, in a pinch you could use Urederm which is another wonderful cream made by Hamilton.

I`m such a believer in CeraVe as it works and has the science to back it up.

L`Oreal list it as an active cosmetic along with La Roche Posay; I`m pretty sure it’s manufactured at the same plant as LRP.

Need to keep spreading the word!

        ❤️❤️☺️
