Definitely read through the forum duality listed it’s got great advice.
The best advice always wear spf 50 and get a zinc based sunscreen.

Ingredients to incorporate are vitamin c, ninacimide, a glycolic acid as well as kojic, bearburry and arbutin.

If you can’t and don’t want to spend a fortune I’d recommend looking at the ordinary. They offer all these at smaller prices.
Definitely try arbutin mixed in with a vitamin a product at night.

I also agree with teegy25 as much as I hated dermapen/ micro needling it actually was and is one of the only things that helped get rid of mine.
Ipl only helps for surface spots.
Hydroquoine also helped me immensely but it’s got alot of down effects your need a script and the pigmentation for me came back after I stopped using.

Pigmentation is an uphill continuing battle but most of mine is gone now.

    Don’t forget the spf.

Ive had IPL and found this had no effect on my pigmentation. Try Dermapen! I can’t recommend it enough! also the skinstitute range. Dermapen treatment is relatively painless as they apply a topical cream prior to treatment. This pic is after two treatments.

There was quite a big thread about pigmentation and lots of us contributed, I’m on my phone so I can’t search for it. Maybe one of the clever gals on a pc could find it and post the link, it was quite a big thread with lots of ideas and products.

Following this thread I haven’t had any laser treatment or found products that lighten your skin but I have one spot near my eye that I’d like to see reduce.
The only advice I have received from people who have had treatments just recommended to wear a high SPF sunscreen daily as their pigmentation returned when they were slack during summer.

Luna19 if you only have one spot I`d recommend trying a glycolic acid and a product from John plunkett called super fade. As you`d only be applying it to the area only it would help you.

Yes, I have tried a few different methods with varying success. It can be very expensive to get treatment so I’d recommend you make an appointment with a clinic (usually plastic or cosmetic surgery clinic) first to see what they recommend and see if they can help you.

What sort of Laser treatment were you using? You can get treatment with IPL that is much cheaper than laser and it can be quite successful.
