So grateful to have been picked for this trial.

  • I’m on this trial also, and I freely admit I am not liking it at all. I will be giving this moisturiser away to someone. It’s simply not for me.

I’ve used a few of the Q10 nivea products so keen to see how it sums up for others 🙂

So I was curious about the ingredients and couldn’t find the full list on the packaging so googled it. I’m not educated enough to tell whether they are good or not, a lot of unfamiliar names there to me. If any beauties can comment, I’d love to hear.

Despite thinking it was unfragranced, I noticed there was Parfum listed last on the list so stuck my nose in the jar last night. There is a very very slight scent similar to a floral baby powder smell but nothing like the familiar Nivea from the blue tin scent.

Ubiquinone (called also `Q10`) serves as an antioxidant in skincare. Usually used in anti-ageing formulations.

Creatine even in small concentrations apparently increase cellular metabolism topically (read…skin repair, collagen synthesis, “”tightening”” the skin…blah blah…used in again anti ageing concoctions)

1-methylhydantoin-2-imide (AKA Creatinine) in skincare seems to be found to reduce tyrosinase activity in melanocytes (read…for brightening , discolouration of skin ).

All 3 naturally found in the body.

Few first ingredients are SPF thingies mixed into the base of humectant glycerin (used in moisturizing formulations) and water. Also has added silicone based ingredient.

Fragrance can be an issue, or not. My skin reacts to some synthetic perfumes applied to skin. For example had a rash from Dr L. youth something cream (was Highly perfumed). Using this Nivea Q10 Night , had none (yet).

Just like olay I don`t usually get along that well with Nivea moisturizing products much. Always feels too greasy and chemically…would like to hear what you think about this one in conclusion.
