Niod Skincare

Good morning!

I have been using some Hylamide and The Ordinary products with great success but very interested in the Niod products.

A search of the forum didn’t bring up any results but just wanting to know if anyone has had experience with Niod?

It will be a significant investment cost wise in comparison to The ordinary/Hylamide products.

Also can anyone recommend where to purchase?

Many thanks

I have been on CAIS2 for months – gone through about 3 bottles now and have one more left. I buy them when on sale. It’s awesome. Skin texture is really smooth for months. I feel like Buffet + Copper Peptides could work just as well though.

What does CAIS2 target? I love the website easy to navigate however sometimes the best ones are out of stock !

Claims to firm skin through improved collagen synthesis while boosting skin’s healing and immune functions and fighting inflammation. I have just found consistent use of it has smoothed out my skin texture completely.

I cracked open my bottle so I think im just going to use this exclusively and see if it makes any difference… im getting older… have to up my game hahaha

Honestly, it might have taken me up to consecutive use of 3 bottles to see a real difference.

You probably already know this but it also smells horrendous (like ink?). Thank God it doesn`t linger.

how do you use in your routine please? do you just use it seperately? can you use with niod survival… im interested because I know you cant use with vitamin c or retinol … so ?

I use it after toner and sometimes after a sheet mask (again, after a toner) and let it absorb for 15-20 mins, before moving on to serums. You can`t use it with other strong antioxidants so I have stopped using Survival 0 in the interim. I also don`t use it on the nights I use retinol.

I don`t apply vitamin C at night, only in the mornings, to boost the efficacy of SPF.

How do you incorporate into routine? I find it makes me breakout. Booh

I haven`t had it break me out but it pills easily if I don`t give it time before and after other products (I give it 15-20 mins). Usually use it right after toner or a sheet mask (after a toner). You can use after cleansing but my skin is dry so I have to follow with a hydrating toner ASAP. Also, never use it with other strong antioxidants in same routine cycle and retinol.

I have been using NIOD’s flavanone mud mask lately and I am surprised at how quickly my pimples shrink.

    Has anyone used CAIS2?

    • 3 yrs, 7 mths ago

Did you end up trying cais2? I have a bottle but I haven`t cracked him open.

      • 3 yrs, 7 mths ago

Yeah, I did. Wasn`t sure what it was doing to my skin. I have another bottle somewhere so might need to prolong use. Hard to notice changes in skin, bad or good, with any form of peptide.

I ended up waiting for the cult beauty goody bag to purchase some of what I wanted but I did try a few of the products last night that I have already received. After cleansing i applied the CAIS followed by the MMHA and then finishing with the Ordinary NMF’s.

After waking up this morning, I’m very excited about this brand, my skin has actually impoved over night, most notably my smile lines have faded dramatically!

I can’t wait to get the remaining items I’ve ordered now!

Heads up for anyone using trying going to purchase the copper serum, you can’t use vitamin c together with this product. The copper will inactivate the vitamin c rendering it use less.

Thanks for letting us know, RJ, I had no idea!

    • 6 yrs, 8 mths ago

Yes, im still on the hunt for a good vitamin c as ill be using vit c in the am and the copper in the pm.

I bought the copper amino acid, but I didn’t see any noticeable effect on my skin. It has some great reviews, but I did read it doesn’t work for everyone.

Im just about to do a pretty huge cult beauty order – items in cart at present include the sandsrit saponins and copper amino acid plus the emma hardie balm, indie lee coq10 toner and maybe some pixi glow tonic…… im sure i had something else in there last night…. grand total of about $210

I used the Niod fractionated eye contour and i loved it! My main concerns are dark circles and fine lines and I think its the only eye cream that I’ve actually noticed making a difference to my dark circles.

Thanks for all the replies, I ended up purchasing the no 1 set as I had a $15 off voucher with adore beauty and it also came with one of the free goody bags and an aspect vit c sample.

I am going to keep it aside until I finish a few products and also want to purchase the Sanskrit cleanser, copper isolate and hydration vaccine and possible the vit c too…..
