NeoStrata

Does anyone use Neostrata and what do you think of it?

I’m considering the Oily Skin Solution as I have combination skin but very large pores that get clogged all of the time so I thought this might help.

I’m currently using Priori skincare plus True Solutions SPF moisturiser and a few serums and things thrown in for good measure.

I also have issues with the build up of dry skin, the end of my nose actually peels like I’ve been sunburned. I think it’s mild eczema or dermatitis so I’m considering one of their products containing Glycolic Acid as well to exfoliate, my skin isn’t overly sensitive.

Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated.

I got prescribed neostrata products by my dermatologist. The facial cleanser and lotion plus. I personally love it because it has helped with my acne a lot. I used to have bumpy skin because of the acne and after a month of using it, my skin is so flat and smooth. I am now just left with acne scars but that will go away overtime with the lotion plus as it has 15 AHA.

I also use the Ultra Smoothing Lotion as my AHA. I started on it, as I didn`t see the other to ease myself in? I have sensitive skin prone to redness, and it doesn`t exacerbate but I just limit my usage, which would be once a week tops. I`m very impressed with it, not just results, but really cost competitive for a great formula – especially when you can get on sale @ Priceline or Chem Warehouse. Been so happy, considering trying some of their others, but haven`t taken the plunge yet.

That is really great customer service Meedee and it just goes to show that we really need to speak up when a product is not satisfactory.

I know this is a really old thread but I didnt want to start a new thread.

I have been using the NeoStrata Bionic 10 Serum. Ive used close to half the bottle and then started having issues with the pump and even worse then that the silver around the top of the bottle started to breakdown and each time I applied the serum to my face I would end up covered in specks of silver which looked like I had applied glitter to my face. I then had to spend time picking the specks of glitter off my face. I messaged the company about this and said that although the product itself is fantastic the packaging was letting it down big time. They got back to me and said that they were passing on my comments to the USA Branch and they would get back to me asap. This morning they messaged me to say that the USA Branch had informed them that there was one batch of the serum that went on in bottles that had this issue and they apologised and they had already dispatched a brand new bottle of the serum for me.

WOW…. Now thats seriously amazing customer service.

Im looking to try a Neostrata cream for night, maybe beginning with the PHA variety and not AHA? Which would you recommend?
I use their Fading Gel morning and night with awesome results so my skin is somewhat use to acids at the moment.

Id recommend the Ultra Smoothing Cream or Lotion if you`ve already used the gel. Its exactly what I did.

I use the cleanser as well and I LOVE Neostrata, my skin has never ever been this clear since I was 11!

I use Neastara ultra smoothing lotion religiosly. I have sensitive and dry skin prone to acne and so I can use scrubs bacuase they always irritate my skin. This works as a great substitute as a scrub and a really good night cream. It has cleared up my stubborn pimples and smoothed out my skin.

Only downside is I have to skip it at night if I`ve been sunburn that day, but otherwise it si a pretty gentle lotion for what it does

Cool thanks Skitzy, I`ll try a few variations. I just don`t seem to have much success with pore strips, I need a product that exfoliates chemically I think so the NeoStrata is it for now.

I just put about 4-6 aspirin (just the el cheapo Black & gold will do – at 99c a pack, they`re a bargain!) into a tiny bowl, add a few drops of water & crush with the back of a teaspoon. Haven`t tried it with Aloe or Honey (I prefer it as is), but they would probably make it stick to your face better! Leave on til dry, wash off with warm water & then apply pore strips if you`re going to use them.

Neostrata are great with samples – I got a heap off a lovely lady on another forum.

Yep I got the samples in the little zip-up bag and the pamphlet of info which has got me really interested.

I get dry flakey skin on my face but I also get dehydrated so I need to combine hydrating products with exfoliating products. Just need to juggle things until I get it right.
