Bump!
Nope, not on this trial. I've used Natures Way Beauty Collagen products but I didn't know about the Mature Skin Tablets which would probably be better for my skin.
Congratulations to everyone on this trial. I'll be interested in reading what you think about the product.
When your older you really need to research supplements especially biotin and collagen. There is heaps of research clincal science studies showing that these can hide results of blood tests that are dangerous. For example when people have a heart attack a particular enzyme rises which shows up in blood- collagen and biotin hide this. Please be careful.
Quote taken from a study
Biotin in patient samples can cause falsely high or falsely low results, depending on the test. Incorrect test results may lead to inappropriate patient management or misdiagnosis. For example, a falsely low result for troponin, a clinically important biomarker to aid in the diagnosis of heart attacks, may lead to a missed diagnosis and potentially serious clinical implications. The FDA has received a report that one patient taking high levels of biotin died following falsely low troponin test results when a troponin test known to have biotin interference was used.
OMG, that's a serious concern! Thanks, ray_jay!
No problem misf. I had a look at this and it doesn't contain biotin but you still need to be careful with collagen. It's so promoted but there can be serious concerns with older people.
I'm on this trial, it will be interesting to see how this affects my skin and overall wellbeing.
Congratulations every one on this trial.
Reviews are'nt due until the beginning of February which is great, BH are giving us plenty of time to ascertain the effects this will have on our skin. Hopefully other trial members will be able to pop in for a chat.
Hoping to see results (if any) after that long a trial Lisa359. Must be at least a months supply.
Congratulations Lisa
I got an email saying I was on the trial for this product but nothing since? Did I miss the list of people who are on the trial? I am not on this site everyday as my husband is not very well. But I have come on every few days . this is all very confusing . Hopefully I am on this trial , fingers crossed.
I got a email on the 10th telling me I'm on the trial, since then I've had a email to say it's been posted, and Australia Post have sent a email to tell me they have the parcel and it's on it's way.
There hasn’t been any list of those on the trial shaper and only by those posting on this forum will we know who’s on it. Only Lisa and yourself so far. Hopefully you have since received an email to say it’s been posted or if you have the Aus Post app, you can check if it’s showing up.
Congrats on the trial ladies! I hope it works for you :)
Well done on this trial ladies. This will be an interesting one to watch.
Hi Margaret 322!! Nice to see you on here :)
Hi! Sparkle 77 I’ve been fairly quiet recently. So busy renovating almost my entire house. Had a few weeks of terrible stomachache problems, but all test are good. My left knee is swollen and very painful, up and down stairs like a fiddlers elbow, is likely the cause. That, plus auld age. Ha ha! Therefore that’s why my interest in trying to keep the wrinkles at bay.
You have been a busy little bee! Reno sounds fantastic but it sounds like you have been in the wars with everything else. Take care x
Congratulations shaper
Thank you all for your well wishes but so far I have heard nothing from BH or from the PO. So fingers crossed its on it way. I will let you all know as a soon as I do.
It arrived yesterday at long last and I got quite a few, 4 boxes actually with 60 pills in each box. I am supposed to take 4 pills per day and they are big pills, a bit hard to swallow so I have to take them with something to drink or they just get stuck in my throat. I will let you all know how I get on as I take other medication as well.
Mine arrived today as well, they remind me of 2 panadol tablets stuck together as a rectangle, you can break them in half if it makes it easier to take Shaper . I'm o.k with taking tablets but for people who don't like them these might be a challenge.
Congratulations and Good luck to those on the trial, I look forward to seeing the reviews.
Thanks for the tip Lisa359 I have already done that, bit still find them a bit hard to swallow but managing . So far I can see a very little difference but its still early days.
Oh this sounds good. I hope I get invited to a new bh trial soon :( Enjoy this one beauties xx
