Hmm yeh I’m not verily impressed with that response. Obviously you followed instructions already. I haven’t read your review yet but I know you wouldn’t have used a large amount unnecessarily especially since you have had trouble with tackiness.
There is nothing wrong with the product not suiting your skin! It’s not like majority of reviews were negative. So it makes sense that it won’t suit everyone perfectly! -

I wouldn’t have been surprised with a standard reply from a very large company. However, I would have assumed that a small niche brand would take the time to send a response that addressed my concerns. I have the impression that whomever read the negative reviews on BH did not forward them to the creator of the product.

My review for the Minenssey Flannel Flower Absolute has finally been approved. I received a response from the company, but it seems similar to the response that others received that also made negative comments. To save people from reading all the responses here is mine:
“RESPONSE FROM MINENSSEY: Thank you for your feedback. The product is very concentrated so we would suggest take 3-5 drops a time for both face and neck which will be sufficient. Please warm between fingers and gently pat to the skin. You will find using this way the water-soluble and light-weight liquid will be absorbed quickly. Depend on your own skin condition, the number of drops can be appropriately reduced or increased.
This small-molecular product is also performing as a carrier to enhance performance of following products. Try 2-3 drops at a time before your mask or cream as well. We would suggest to keep using it for 14-28 days to reveal a more plumping complexion. Please try that and let us know how you feel. Please feel free to contact us via info@minenssey.com if you have any further questions or feedback.”

That`s WORD FOR WORD the same Brand Response they gave me. I`m going to email them – in a few days (hectic at the moment). I`ll update if they reply.

I would find it a little irritating that any brand refused to accept that a product didn`t work as you`d said in your review, Petal. They did at least respond but throwing the lack of success back onto the user, rather than actually accepting that not everyone will have success is less than convincing – at least that`s how it appears to me.

Well, I’ve uploaded my review, so I’m rather glad I can stop using this serum.
I’ll see my fam on Sunday for Easter, so I’ll see if Mum or one of my sisters want to try it.

Petal you can check if that’s the case by going in to the product review page as if you are going to write a review.
Instead of it saying Submit a review or You have already submitted a review, it might say Review Pending (or something similar) which lets you know Bh has received it and it’s been passed over to the brand for comment/feedback.

I get this message at the bottom of the Minenssey Flannel Flower Absolute review page.

Oonga I’ve had two reviews recently where publishing has been delayed – and it says Review Pending as I’ve mentioned to Petal.
One review (from a big brand) was published with no brand response and the other (from a small new brand) had a very lengthy response – pretty much a standard one though and not that helpful to the issue I had – but a response nonetheless.
I can’t remember now whether I received the review points when my review was actually published or when Bh initially received it.
Think I kept checking the product reviews and eventually saw it there – maybe 2-3 weeks later. I know Bh are stretched but it would be helpful to be alerted if a brand had responded.
I remember having a review published and looking at it months later to see a brand response – too late then to follow up on it.
I think Bh don’t hold back publishing bad reviews – as long as they’re not abusive and you have legitimate reasons for your low rating.
And they give the brand a right of reply.Otherwise what’s the point of reviews!

I always get my points when the review is published, which might be same day (rare) or weeks later.
I agree with your point about brand responses. Yes, they should have the right of response; but Bh slip their response in without notifying us! I`ve been surprised to discover a brand response to my review sometime after the review was published.

I keep putting off finalising my review. I’m pretty sure I’ll give it two stars. I was going to use it up as an eye serum, but I think I’ll pass it along to Mum to see if she likes it.
