Low Ph Cleansers

Can anyone recommend any low ph cleansers?
Especially ones they have used. Would be helpful with skin type too.

I am aware of the cosrx low ph cleanser and simple cleansers in this category.
Just like some more.

For those that are not aware about low ph cleansers I have taken this information below

“Beyond keeping your skin balanced and protected, getting your skin to the correct pH level pays off in other ways. The lower the pH of a formula, the more bio-available its ingredients are—which means more of it is being absorbed by your skin. It makes sense: If your moisture barrier is healthy and functioning as it should, it can soak up your products more effectively and efficiently (as well as keep the bad stuff out).

While cleansers are the biggest offenders when it comes to throwing pH out of whack, they’re also the easiest way to lower your pH, which is why more and more brands are taking care to make sure the formulas are pH-balanced. You can even throw in a pH-balancing toner (yet another Asian beauty import).”

I’ve been following Vanessa for ages, she is very thorough in her PH testing, if you search her hashtag #gtggphtest you will find all of her results 🙂

I am going to reply to myself. Ha ha.

ideal cleanser falls somewhere between a 4.5-6.2

    ideally around 5.5 PH.
the goal is to use an acidic cleanser because they’re actually gentle and do not strip your skin of excess oil.

    Examples

Cetaphil ‘Gentle’ Cleanse for example has a ph of 6.2. So actually will cause dry, itchy skin.
Not a good ph or idea to use

Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash – (no fragrance, gentle list of ingredients) – 5.5-5.8. Good good.
