Egyptian Magic Cream

Hello ladies!
I was wondering if you’ve heard or tried “Egyptian Magic Cream”. It’s basically an all purpose healing balm, which contains only 6 ingredients: olive oil, bees wax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly, and bee propolis. The product has received rave reviews on youtube and some celebrities even love it. It’s apparently very good for eczema and psoriasis sufferers. On Mecca it sells for $72, which is incredibly inflated as I’ve seen it see for $30-$40 on US websites.
So has anyone heard of or tried this product?

This is what it looks like:

Thanks for bumping this thread as I’d never heard of this product. I have really dry skin so think I’ll check it out. I see Priceline have itty bitty tubs of it for $10 which might be a good trial size before getting the bigger one.

As it’s in Priceline I wonder if it’s included in their 40% off skincare sales (I know some brands are excluded)

I took the plunge and finally applied some of this on my face a few nights ago…WOW! I am really impressed. My skin is quite blemish prone and this did not make it worse! I was seriously expecting it too considering it’s oily texture.
My skin feels smoothed from this. Has totally evened out the bumpy texture and dry areas. In 2 days! Will use up this sample. May buy again in future.

I kept reading about the benefits of Egyptian Magic so I bought a pot off ebay for around $37. It’s an excellent product. You use so little of it, I know the pot I have is going to last a really long time. I have only used it on my face so far but apparently you can use it on your hair as a hot oil treatment.

wow thanks for all the great responses ladies!
I might go try it in Mecca 🙂

Unfortunately I can’t buy online, but I will figure out a cheaper way to get my hands on it 😛

lol JL I love how you describe the EA 8 hour as a glorified vaseline

    Hey Yvette,
You are correct that Egyptian Magic is similar to Everything Balm. Having checked out the ingredients in the Trilogy Balm I would say that they would both get similar results. They are also both great natrual, better quality and cheaper products than their only other competitor Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream which is more than 62% petroleum jelly!! The 8 hour cream is half the quantity and quality of EM and EB and costs more than twice as much!! Why would anyone pay so much for over glorified fragranced vaseline is beyond my comprehension.

I’ll be around BH more than I have been for some time, but probably not as much as I used to be.

So does anyone know what happened to GoldenButterfly? I can’t see her anywhere on the forum anymore.

Hey JL so good to see you back in the forums =)

I have tried this Magic cream in Mecca a few times and I really like it. Will have to check out on ebay to get a pot. It is quite a popular cream, it also reminds me of the Trilogy Everything Balm.

    Hi Mel,
It’s been a while! Lots has happened in life – hence I’m not here as much as I used to be. You are right about this one being right up my alley, it’s great when my skin really needs a boost in winter. I still use my skinfix when I need it too. Hope all is well with you and the kids and the dogs. LOL 😉

Hello JL so good to see you darl, I thought this sort of cream would be right up your alley, I ended up getting myself some of the Skinfix thanks to your recommendation, it is a first aid kit in a jar 🙂

I love my Egyptian Magic. I got mine for $35 on ebay (link below) several months ago and have only made a small dent in the huge pot. I use it for removing eye makeup, cracked cuticles, dry lips and as a moisture sealer in winter. My skin gets very dehydrated and feels like parchment and sort of burns due to lack of moisture. I just use my Aloe vera gel on my face first and while it is still damp I put some EM on my fingers to soften it and then smooth it all over my face. It would probably be too greasy for someone with oily skin but it is incredibly comforting to someone with dry/dehydrated skin. INSTANT RELIEF!!
Here is a current auction for EM balm on ebay for those interested.

This is the same seller that I bought mine from and the price has only gone up a couple of dollars since I bought mine.
I almost forgot, I use this on dry hair to help control the frizzies, just rub a little bit in between the palms of my hands and smooth it on my hair. Totally calms it down.
