I have dry and mature skin, so I’m not the best person to assist you with product recommendations etc. However, when I read your post, my initial reaction was to ask if you use an exfoliating product. Exfoliating products should help in reducing any flaky patches, and they will help your moisturisers work more effectively.
If you are not doing so already, you can try using a facial oil on your dry patches. I’ve read of lots of oily skinned girls that used to be scared of facial oils. After cautiously introducing them into their routine, they usually found them beneficial. Rosehip oil is a good place to start, but jojoba or chia seed oil is often more suitable for oily skin. Some companies are starting to introduce facial oils for oily skin that have a lighter consistency.
