Dermatologically tested vs Dermatologist recommended
When shopping for skincare, what influences your purchasing decisions?
Do you place trust in the labelling “Dermatologically tested” or “Dermatologist recommended”?
My bathroom counter and handbag has numerous tubs and tubes that fall into the latter category.
A little bit of history: Did you know that Clinique was established in late 1960s by Evelyn Lauder in conjunction with Norman Orentreich, a prominent dermatologist and first president of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery?
It was the world’s first allergy tested brand.
In my opinion, if you are going to place your trust in a luxury beauty brand, Clinique generally has your back although some of the alcohol based formulations can be very drying.
What are your thoughts?
