Copper peptide info

Hi there,

Just wondering whether any beauties have used Copper Peptides in their skin care routine? I’m just starting to notice them a lot more now (not sure whether I was oblivious to them before now) Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have used the copper peptide serum from NIOD, Janefre it comes with a Hyaluronic serum. I remember really liking the duo, the most noticeable difference to my skin was that it looked more radiant. In saying that, I only used the one set. I wanted to buy again, but didn’t want to spend the money, lol. I’ve since bought the Buffet serum with copper peptides, but am yet to use that one.

Thanks for your reply Indie I was looking at The Ordinary version but have seen a new skincare range in Priceline called “”Clear Skincare”” who have a Copper Peptide serum about the same price.

Jan, just be aware of the size. The Ordinary one is 30ml, CS is 15 ml. The Ordinary comes also with the coctail of other awesome goodies. So CS one is double in price, ingredients differ too.

OK this is just my take based on using for approximately one year – I’m not convinced but that is because I use actives like Tretinoin that do what the benefits of copper peptides are (namely regeneration and increasing collagen production etc).

I noticed no immediate/extra benefit when I added to my routine but Tret is strong and the benefits are really apparent in the short term. Peptides work quietly in the longer term and you don’t get that bang like you do when you use something like Vit C or retin A but not to say it’s not working.

I remember reading the following journal article and thinking wow they sound good and that’s why I tried.
