I have been on mine for nearly 5 months now, all seems really good at this end, I never experienced any side effects but I was on a high strength retinol product for months prior to the retin a 🙂

Just wondering how everyone is going with their Retin-A? I started a perscription of .01 gel last week. Haven`t had any redness or peeling yet.

This time last year I had extremely bad acne. I’ve spends tons of money on things that never worked. I went to my doctor and she put me on retin-a 0.025% gel. I read a lot of people saying it gets worse before it gets better. For me I got a ton of white heads and dryness. After about 3-4 weeks my face was done being so irritated. I was on that dose for about 6 months. I’m now on rerin-a 0.05% cream. It also took a bit of time getting used to it. My face is 100x better then it was when I started. My skin was bumpy and now it’s smooth with an even tone. I will continue to use rerin-a. So ladies just stick though the dry and “ugly” phase. It’ll be worth it in the end (:

I am doing really well with mine, most likely because I have been using Retinol for so long now I did not experience any flaky skin at all when I changed to Retin-A and no sensation or anything, that is super fantastic because I can`t feel it at all, just like applying any other cream, except I only just use the tiniest bit and really make it spread over my whole face, hopefully some more results to come with time 🙂

Still need to find out about the whole script thing two and not sure if too many doctors will give out a script for that many creams in the one go, and also if we can submit multiple scripts, lol.

Lol unless we do a CP for all of us here and share it amongst ourselves… that could work. We just need to get a list of who else is interested in purchasing the product… I guess I`m in if you want to do bulk purchase.

Depends on your doctor, you would be better off seeing a derm to make sure it would be suitable for your skin and also if you even need it, coz it can have numerous side effects too. The shipping is like $12.50USD and that saving of $17AUD is for 3 tubes so I guess if you look at it for one tube it is only going to be $5+ so I think your right would be a bit of a hassle plus the 3 week wait normally for international orders to arrive 🙁 The pricing gets a bit better if you buy in bulk but why the hell I would want 6 or 12 tubes in the one go is beyond me, hehe 🙂

melmeko – what`s the shipping costs to Australia?
I think given the hassle, I rather just go to the doc and get a script and buy here if the savings aren`t that great. I just need to find the time to get to one. Most of my acne have now healed, and I just have scarring and discolouration, would the GP still prescribe retin-A if you don`t have active acne?

Back again it is in US dollars so atm it is about a $17dollar saving for me, but do they even accept Australian scripts in other countries???
