My mum had bought a few of the Cellsation creams (can’t remember what they were a dupe for, Estee Lauder or something) and was using them for a few months then suddenly got a reaction (which looked like light chemical burns) from them and returned them. I actually tried the cream and it seemed fine on my skin but the only thing I didn’t like was the strong perfume from it.

I find Aldi to be very hit and miss with their products.

Perhaps a red background makes it easier to see the smooth patch.

Wish I saw this before I bought the nail file a few weeks back for my sister 🙁

I paid even less as it was in the reduced section but the glass /crystal nail files are supposed to last a while.

I saw them on sale recently. At least they`re cheap. I bought my Aldi one as a back up for my Manicare Crystal nail file. The Manicare one is still going strong – no worn patches despite a few years of constant use!

My sister also has the Manicare one! She has the purple one, I just thought that this would be great for carrying in her bag as it is half the size 🙁

All well, we all make mistakes sometimes.

Here’s some follow-up on that cute rose gold-tipped glass file I bought for $2.

I’ve only used this occasionally, yet both sides have a worn patch where the grit has worn completely smooth.

I saw in a recent ALDI catalog that they are putting out an organic and chemical free charcoal and tea tree oil skincare range. I think it will be available from Saturday this week from the stores.

The products looked pretty great – make-up wipes with either charcoal or tea tree oil (25 per packet) for $2.

I’ve tried a few things from there like the rosehip oil which was great. Tried some hair volumizing products and hated them made my hair greasy. But most products are not too bad..

I’ve recently purchased two of the long wearing two step lipsticks. They were only $7 each and I admit I purchased due to misfortune always saying they are great. Am trying this week.
They also have a really good physical scrub product that I like. It’s only $3.

I’ve tried a face cream year’s ago it was ok but not for me & recently tried an anti-aging serum with retinol in it I absolutely loved it & it smelt beautiful on my skin but couldn’t get the rest of the product out of the serum-glass that it came in which was a waste & kept jamming on me if they had this in a jar like normal face cream’s this would be my go-to cream that I would use all the time but considering that happens with the serum bottle itself I’ll pass on this.
