Romantic (spa filled) getaway ideas?

Hi lovely BH ladies,

My hubby and I are coming up to our 2 year wedding anniversary, and have hardly seen each other in months due to our jobs. We have 1 week off together and want to getaway to somewhere romantic. Mountains/rainforest are a preference, a spa (as in the bubbly watery kind) is a must, and a day spa (whoo hoo!) is also a must.

Any of you ladies been anywhere you thought was particularly fantastic?
We’re happy to spend if we need to, we really need to do nothing but eat, sleep, get massages and relax!

We`re in Victoria and are happy to go anywhere here, SA or NSW (as long as we can drive).
You`re right about the Dandenong Ranges, we spent our wedding night in a place called `Linden Gardens` up there which was absolutely amazing! Best place I`ve ever been.
Daylesford is a good option, I looked up the Lakehouse but have heard it`s over-rated…having trouble finding anywhere else up there on the net to check out.

Hi Amy…..It depends on where you live and where you would like to travel to…….If you are in Vic, the Dandenong Mountains have some gorgeous B& B`s, and there`s heaps of great restaurant`s too! Or maybe Dalesford in Vic, they have some awesome day spa`s……good luck, I hope you find somewhere lovely to spend your 2nd Anniversary!
