Melbourne Brazillian – organic bees wax

Hi Beauties 🙂

I’ve been going to this fantastic waxer in Carlton for over a year now. It’s great because it was right around the corner from work, so I went on my lunch break. The best thing about this beauty salon though was that they use pure organic bees wax. It’s so gentle on your skin – no red marks afterwards and in-growns are practically a thing of the past. The salon is called Beauty On Elgin and I highly recommend it.

Now, to my problemo… I’ve changed jobs and am now nowhere near Carlton, and live in the SE suburbs – also nowhere near Beauty On Elgin.
Do any of you lovely ladies know of other waxers using organic bees wax in Melbourne? Or do you think that now that I’m onto a good thing I should just make the trip on Saturdays?

Help!

Yup I say make the trip on a saturday. My waxer recently informed me she was considering leaving her work place and I promptly told her to “Take me with her” lol. We discussed how poaching clients is just plain wrong and she doesn’t want to do it and then we discussed how personal it can be and how you build friendships.

I only went to that particular place to see her and after 2 years I will follow her to the ends of the earth because she does an amazing job. So whether it’s the wax or the waxer I am a firm believer of not giving up a good thing.

Thanks guys, I think I will take your advice Roxymisha and stay with my current place. When you’re onto a good thing, don’t let it go, right?!

Lol beautyqueen 🙂 brazillians hurt less and less the more regularly you get them done. They will never be as painful as the first time!

From my experience I would stay with the salon you like best. I stopped using my favourite salon some years ago as I moved far away and haven’t found a salon I like as well so I am seriously thinking of going back. Waxing is also such a personal thing which makes me prefer going to someone I know reasonably well and feel comfortable with. x
