Hair Salons, Spas, etc. in Melbourne

Hi lovelies, couldn’t find a thread on this (tried asking in nails in Melbourne thread, but to no avail), so I’m posting a new topic – have you got any awesome hair salons, spa places etc. in Melbourne that you would recommend? Preferably around Melbourne CBD:)

I would ask you to go to Zowie, they have the best hairdresser.

In this post some links are too helpful to find salons in Melbourne.

I get my hair done at Secret Stylist in Port Melbourne. The hairdressers name there is Suzie and she is probably the best girl ive ever had. She listens to exactly what you want and 10 out of 10 times i leave really happy. She is not overly expensive either, which is surprising for that area.

I moved back to Essendon and i still see her bc i refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. I can honestly not recommend her enough

Body Freedom in South Melbourne. Champagne with your pedi? Yes please! I’ve traveled from the Mornington Peninsula to go here, it’s lovely http://www.bodyfreedom.com.au/

Zowie at Zowie Evans is the best hairdresser I have ever come across. She wored at Toni and Guy in Melbourne Central for years before leaving to set up her own salon in Carlton.

I just saw this! Thanks for bumping this, Trish darling!

Jelena, I usually go to Bridge to Beauty for a bit of pampering but it’s in Richmond, which is a bit further away from you. http://www.bridgetobeauty.com.au/

For a more high end pampering experience, the St Kilda sea baths is divine – http://www.stkildaseabaths.com.au/spa-dreamtime

For hair, I don’t go to the CBD, sorry. I usually go to my hair stylist in Lattouf International, Chadstone. She’s a little pricy but I know she’s really good!

I’ve heard good things about Toni and Guy and Oscar Oscar, maybe give them a go? Also got my hair blow-dried at the Blow Dry Bar in Melbourne Central and they were very professional! Loved it.

Pop from Toni and Guy Melbourne Central is one of the most amazing (and nicest) hairstylists ever. http://www.toniandguy.com.au/VIC/MelbourneCentral He’s the style director now (he wasn’t when I used to get my hair done by him), so he’s probably pretty pricey!

If I could afford it both time-wise and money-wise, I’d go back to him for hair styling.

And lmao someone actually loved Meghan’s contribution to this forum post. Maybe it’s Meghan herself 😛

Roxymisha, thanks so much, I’ll look into those 🙂

Meghan, really? You smell very spammy to me, so I’d rather not 🙂

Good one, Ms Jelena, great spotting and not even answering your question – great to have a recommendation from someone we respect as much as Roxy.
Coco not able to help? Good luck.
