Favourite spas overseas

Bali: at Harris Kuta Hotel. The massages and spa treatments are fantastic, the therapists are polite, friendly but don’t talk too much so they don’t ruin your relaxing experience. They put Balinese music in the background, plus the sound of running water filling up the outdoor personal bathtub, the lovely aromatherapy smell, excellent massage…. Bliss… They use alarm clock with “chicken crowing” sound to wake you up after treatments. Very original indeed. 🙂

Singapore: SpaEsprit – they have 2 branches at Holland Village, the one closer to the food court gives better service, not as snooty as the other one.

Bangkok: Banyan Tree Spa. Scrumptuous!

I`ve reported the spam by Tenderness. Please do not click on the blue link. kusama has spammed other threads, so they`re probably the same person.

The old spamming tag teams are having another crack at pretending to be helpful, lol!

To be honest. I don`t really like spas and prefer to have some bath procedures at home.

Just a little update, SpaEsprit in Singapore has moved, I think it`s to Paragon building. Google it and they give you the address. For spa experience in UK, Elemis facial and hot stone massages are to die for.

If in Phuket, Thailand – dont go past the Body-Mind spa. They have branches in Patong, Karon and Kata.
My sister and I visited the Karon branch. From the moment you enter, it is like a visit to a gentle exotic world, where you are queen. Gorgeous surrounds and beautiful gentle Thai staff. I opted for a face mask and body wrap. 2 hours of total bliss for the equivalent of 70 Australian dollars. They even come to you hotel to pick you up. The face mask was of natural ingrediants – honey and cucumber. Very soothing. The warming body wrap was divine and they follow with a massage. Be careful though – if you are at all prudish, make sure you let them know if you DONT want your `chest` massaged! All in all worth every cent.
