Blue Hotel in Sydney

Thanks all for all the recommendations! I will be taking some pictures and eating lots of food!

I haven’t stayed at teh hotel but I had a treatment done at their day spa – Azul – and that was absolutely amazing. To get to the day spa I had to walk past the bar and it looked stunning – it had this feature above the bar, it was about 2m long and had crystals hanging down off it like a chandelier…I want one for my home!! About 100m up the road is Harrys cafe de wheels which is ok…but nothing compared to the restaurants in the area. Across the road is the Tilberry Hotel – which is one of our favourite pubs in sydney. I think you’ll have a great time there!

I stayed there a while ago (when it was the W Hotel) and it was great – most comfy bed and pillows EVER!
There are some really great restaurants around – China Doll is delish – but if you want something a little less pricey just take a walk up to Macleay Street in Potts Point (prob about a 10 min walk) and there are some great cafes and restaurants there. My faves are La Buvette and Fratelli Paradiso – both on Challis Ave.

It’s at Woolloomooloo, part of the Taj hotels.

I am going soon and just wondering what I can look forward to!

Its amazing, beautiful old style rooms,beautiful rooms,great service!
The water bar in the centre has the best of everything! Very expensive though.

I would definitely stay there again! Close walk to beautiful restaurants… make sure you go to China Doll on the Wharf.
