Best Facial In Melbourne?

Please let me know if you have had an amazing experience at a salon in melbourne for a facial. I used to find facials boring and a waste of time, and would only go if i was given a voucher as a gift. That was until I discovered… Brighton Beauty Therapy (aka Ella Bache Brighton) and their 60 min “Deluxe Facial Treatment”. Yes it is $90 but can I tell you, it will be a very rewarding and relaxing hour.

This is the facial as described on their website (http://brightonbeautytherapy.ellabache.com.au/menu-of-services/facial-treatments/) :

“A relaxing treatment incorporating the decollete area includes cleansing, skin diagnosing, exfoliating, steaming, massaging and masking. The massaging with this facial commences with the décolleté and includes the shoulders, neck and face. The complimentary hand treatment involves exfoliating and massaging – a soothing addition to your facial..”

Do yourself a favour 😉 ENJOY

That being said I am always up for trying new treatments at other salons so please let me know if you can recommend somewhere that is undoubtably an experience!

I went to Allison Browning Therapies few days back. She’s quite good too. Though she’s bit on the expensive side.

I had the most amazing facial in a salon called bien etre, the therapist was so experienced she has worked in the UK in spas and is a naturopath as well! The treatment was a so relaxing it started with an aromatherapy foot bath then once I was on the bed and all wrapped up my skin was cleansed steamed exfoliated etc but with the most wonderful massage technique, then I had some extractions which was great as lately I’ve noticed lots of salons don’t do them. Then the best part of the facial was a massage with a serum and cream that was so relaxing my face, neck, shoulders and scalp were all massaged and then when my mask was on she massaged my hands and feet…I have never been so pampered and my skin was great for weeks after. It was great and I recommed this place to everyone.
    And it was only $95

I had the most divine day at rivers of Yarrambat about a month ago. Facial, hour massage and pedi, as well as a “steam room” session. Was absolute bliss, and, they “got” that I was having a day off being a mum so kept the talk to a minimum. Was fabulous, and I’m trying to plan a day to go back with a girlfriend.

Melbourne City… I don’t think BH supports this sort of promotion. YOu can add your salon to the salon list though. 🙂

Thanks, I’ve been a member for a while and read the newsletters that come to my inbox, but it wasnt until i was bored at work the other day that i explored the site and found out how wonderful it is!

Thats so much for the link! I’ll be sure to check it out asap! Is there a particular treatment there that is your favourite?

I haven’t been there for a while but I always loved their pedicures (never had any better than at La Face) and their massages were wonderful. Facials were designed to suit my skin’s condition and over the years I had many different ones. But you can’t go wrong with any of their treatments. Let us know if you go.

Kiora Day Spa in Hawthorn is really good. They have amazing packages as well as individual treatments. I always give gift vouchers for here and everyone just loves it.
Also Endota in Southland is really good as well. They have amazing facials. But I feel silly walking out of Southland after a facial lol…

Hi Britty1 and welcome to BH. The best salon for all things beauty, not just facials is ‘La Face’ in Carlton. You feel absolutely pampered there and there are so many beautiful treatments to choose from. It has been going for more than 20 years and I highly recommend it. I chose a day of pampering there for my 40th birthday present to myself and loved every minute of it.

The services are pricey but worth it!
