Missing Reviews

Anyone else having problems with missing reviews?

I have been a member for many years and have never encountered this problem; but recently, I have been informed my reviews were missing eg for the Nivea Q10 products. However; one was received and the other were supposedly not received. Bit perplexing.

Of late, this is not the first time this has happened.

In addition, all e-mails to editor@beautyheaven.com.au are being returned error 505.

Good idea. My goal is to be as organised as you Okatko & Petal ❤️

Over past ~6 months reviews I have submitted have just disappeared into the ether, and I can’t remember what I wrote or what products they were to resubmit or follow up with staff. I did resubmit one that I remembered, but the second submission also disappeared.

Definitely haven’t received points or message to say they’ve been approved/published.

The disappearance of the ‘pending reviews’ feature some time ago means you can’t go in to confirm that the review has been submitted.

When it was one, I just shrugged, but now it seems to be pattern. Very sad, and have stopped writing reviews as a result.

Pic: When you`ve reviewed a product & it`s been published, you`ll see this. This can save you trawling through 20 pages of reviews to see if you`ve reviewed it or not.

Pic: If you`ve submitted a review but it hasn`t been published yet, you`ll see this.

A lot of brands have recently left Bh due to the COVID economy. Do you think some of your reviews were from brands that have left?

I also keep a copy of my pending reviews & only delete them once they`re published. I greatly miss “”Pending Reviews””.

There IS a way you can confirm that your review has been submitted. It all depends on what`s at the bottom of the page.

Thanks M8. I honestly can’t remember what they were for to go check the pages. I’ll be better organised and save my drafts somewhere until I know they’ve been published in future.

Sad that the pandemic economy has hit companies so hard. Hopefully they’ll return to the fold when things improve.

Don`t stop writing reviews. Keep a draft copy, I do that usually in the draft section of my emails. I have also started an excel spreadsheet of the products I have used and whether they are available for review and whether I have done one or not on BH, BC, Adore beauty and others.

        Wow, you`re very organised Okatko.

I`ve only just started it Hayley. I have to spend time backtracking to record it all. I suppose a good idea is any time I start something new then add it to my spreadsheet then find out if they are listed on any of the sites. As far as I can tell Beautycrew don`t have a profile page where you can see what reviews you have written so the only way to keep track of it is to do it myself that way I don`t waste time looking for a review if I`m not sure if I have done it or not.

I also keep a copy of my reviews until BH approves them. I keep a Word document that lists all of the reviews that I`ve done.

Hmm, I did a bunch of reviews when I signed up but a lot of them didn’t show up either. I thought it might be because I did them on products that weren’t listed on this site anywhere else. One was on aquaphor and on some Jan Marini and Cosmedix beauty products that I am using.

If the product is not listed on this site then you cannot write a review, you write the review underneath the products description , if it`s not there then their is nowhere to write it.

Most of my reviews seem to have been sorted now, I’m missing one review although it says I’ve done it (can only submit one review at bottom of page). Also 5 bonus points for a Glosscars review. No points for articles still (as far as I can see).

      Hello Lindylou

I suggest you send an SMS to:
      Melville, Alicia CC: Drogitis, Eleni

It`s really most annoying that points are not allocated and reviews get lost. After all, we take the time and trouble to complete reviews and send them in to collect points.

      Good luck with this.

Same here, most of my reviews done over the week have been published now but no points for articles etc. I think they are still fixing the issue, the backlog of reviews throughout the course of the week must be huge

    Hi all,

I have had my reviews accepted and awarded points for these, however I am still missing points from comments on posts/articles etc.

  • 4 yrs, 1 mth ago

    Hi JMenz,

    Glad you sorted it out.

  • 4 yrs, 1 mth ago

Same here, I have submitted a whole bunch of reviews that haven’t been accepted. I think there are at least 5 that havent gone up or earned me points, im sure of it.

    • 4 yrs, 1 mth ago

      Hello JMenz

I suggest you send an e-mail to:

      Melville, Alicia
      CC: Drogitis, Eleni

On 4 March 2020, I was informed by Alicia Melville, that Eleni was away sick.

I still haven`t heard about my missing points, so presume Eleni is still away sick.

      Good luck with your points.

Thanks Electra1, I think I figured it out after all. It was the way I was going back to the list of items, instead of going back a page, it was going back a whole step and basically deleting the review I just made. I have been earning points and my reviews have been accepted since changing it.

    Hi Electra1,

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing such problems.

I believe another member of the team has reached out to you on email to help solve this.

However, if you should need to contact us about anything at all, the best way is via info@beautyheaven.com.au

    Kindest,
    Sam x

    Hi Sally

I was told this was an automated e-mail and my reviews have been located. However; I still haven’t received my points.
