Freezeframe Magnalash mishaps and merriment!

Hi there Lovelies,

I thought I’d start a thread documenting experiences with the Freezeframe Magnalash falsies.

Having watched YouTube segments on how to apply the lashes, I feel like it may be a fool’s errand!

I keep dropping mine and can’t seem to get adequate placement of any of the lashes!

Is anyone else having similar issues?

I am having a little giggle at how ridiculous I look trying to set them in place!

I never used false eyelashes before. There was no way in the world I can put them on properly.I didn’t submit a review for them , I thought it wouldn’t be fair since I wasn’t able to use them.Happy to hear someone managed to put them on.

Nope, I can’t work with these and bye bye magnet lashes. I think I will stick with my mascara.

I don’t mind spending a bit of time if they look good, but they don’t! Like yohanna already said, the square-ish magnets are problematic. They make the eye shape looks weird, and the corners of the lashes lift up which is a big MUA no-no. I just wanted to glue them down all the time.

Well after some time offline, I’ve just caught up to this thread. I gave these lashes 5 stars! I freakin’ love ’em!

It took me about 15 minutes of failure, but then I got it! This is the method that I wrote in my review:

    1. Doing one eye at a time, I lay the upper lashes along my top lash line with my eye closed & my head tilted back a little.
    2. I slowly open my eye then reach down for the open lash box with my hands, still keeping my head tilted back. If I look down, the upper lashes slip off. I raise the box to eye level to remove the matching lower lashes.
    3. I open my eyes as wide as I can, then hold the lower lashes close to my eyeball, just above my lower lash line. With my head still tilted back a little, I then I shut my eyes. The magnets click together & remain in place.

Thanks misfortune8 for these tips, it sounds a little more difficult than normal false eyelashes but I love the idea of less waste

That`s great you succeeded mis8 – I tried for about 10 minutes and gave up.

Might have to try your way and see if it works.

Okay, so I found a quiet time to try and apply these magnetic lashes. forget it – they are very fiddley and not great with short sparse lashes either.

I have heard of others out there so maybe they would work better but kind of scared off now.

Will let you know Shop A Everyday.

Yes they sure are too fiddly, I did try, so hard, but just couldn`t get them to work. The video is not for beginners, and would throw most people, as it looks so easy, but it`s the opposite

I haven’t tried my false lashes yet either.

After reading many of the comments it doesn’t sound hopeful that they are going to be a success. I am going to give them a try and see how I go.

Marclaire, looking forward to reading what your thoughts are!!

I would have to agree with the everyone else. They are far too fiddly to apply. Very time consuming and then I couldn`t get them on properly. My lashes are too short for the lashes to grip onto. I watched the YouTube video, it looked very easy to apply them. It`s not. I haven`t got the patience for them. I`ll stick to mascara.

At least you had a go, Marclaire. I still have two unopened boxes ready to be given to someone who can actually use them.

        Same here…

      • 5 yrs, 3 mths ago

Good luck with that. Just far too fiddly.

I am trying the Volumazing mascara instead, which seems to be going ok so far.

Oh My!!! I opened these yesterday, and after 20 minutes in the bathroom, I felt like having a tantrum!!! They kept falling in the sink, so stuff this, back to good old lovely mascara,

I do my makeup at the bathroom medicine cabinet mirror, so I put the plug in the handbasin – just in case.

I got them on alright but they never looked perfect, the edges don’t have any magnets so I couldn’t get them down properly
