What beauty habit bugs your partner?

I know this is an old thread but I loved reading through these lol What’s funny though is that my partner has zero complaints about beauty habits other than how long it takes me to get ready if we’re going out. But if he does have any he definitely doesn’t make them known. I’ve landed a good man lol

So many hate the smell of nail polish! My bf actually loves it which is a bit weird haha, even when we go past the nail salons he loves the smell.

If there’s anything he hates it’s how long I take to do things – make up (30-40 min for full face) or blow drying my hair (down to my stomach so takes a good 20 mins at least) or even washing brushes which takes a good half hour at least.

Mine would have to be blow drying my hair, he cannot stand it. Apparently I am ‘always’ blow drying my hair. LOL

I’m currently in a stand-off with my man about wearing fake tan to bed. He hates the smell but I refuse to give in! Especially as we’re in the middle of winter and I’m as white as a ghost.

So I was wondering, what beauty habit or part of your beauty ritual does your partner hate?

My hubby used to hate the medicated shampoo I used to use he said it was being in bed in a hospital ward! So I changed and now he can’t get enough of my hair, my secret, I use Pro Naturals Moroccan Oil!
Pity the fake tanning products can’t incorporate some sexy smell into their products – just a thought.

Taking up all the cupboard space in the bathroom! 🙂

my ex used to hate me applying lip balm/lipstick/lipgloss.
He used to say his lips never got dry without wearing lip balm, so If I stopped wearing it i wouldn’t need it any more :O

Another vote goes to the smell of nail polish! BF hates it. He also hates that ammonia smell in hair dye… thankfully I’ve found Garnier Olia to be a winner and it doesn’t stink. 🙂

My husband hates coconut scented body products but I love them! Our compromise is that I can’t apply them before bed at night. He doesn’t notice them as much throughout the day.

I’m with your husband on that one Charlie. It’s not so much that I hate the smell, it’s that whatever they use to make coconut fragrance gives me an instant headache.

Another one here that’s not much of a fan of coconut scented things. I don’t like the taste either so that’s probably why.
