One word, Proactiv. It is the only product that has worked for my problem skin and I will never, ever use anything other than this product. I also agree that he should try and combat this problem now as leaving it could make it a lot worse.

Yeh there`s different types of antibiotics you can be put on – then there`s the extreme option of roaccutane – I`m personally not a fan of it as it`s incredibly harsh on the body – but it does work.

yes try and combat it now. my friend has really severe acne. and if it does get really bad you can get a pill from the doctors which is for people with really sever acne and it really helps clear things up my friend got it. you have to take it every day and after about 3 weeks it stats to work

Biggest mistake that teenagers make (including myself) ? Using too harsh products coz they`re trying to get rid of pimples. Buy him QV or Cetaphil cleansers – they`re nice and gentle and won`t irritate. Then buy him some natural pimple clearing stuff – like tea tree oil lotion or something. If his skin develops into more extreme acne take him to a naturopath – or if you`re not into that kind of thing – take him to a doctor. The last thing you want is him developing severe acne and having to deal with that – plus the scarring that occurs also.

I wouldn`t use pro-active my little cousin uses that and to tell you the truth its a big rip off. They keep jacking up the price aswell. Was $70 a few months ago now its is $80 a good face wash from your local super market should do the trick. When applying the lotion you should use warm water to open up the pours once you have finished use cold water to close the pours to easy. I think a lot of fatty foods and sweet stuff is a contributing factor for people getting pimples and that. Just speaking from past experience. Hope this has helped 🙂

eles i agree, my hubby loves a facial but I have to get him a gift voucher for one so he HAS NO CHOICE……you know…. but he really enjoys them when he does because he especially loves the face and head massage.

Pro activ would be great, its for both men and women and is really effective. Especially the pimples, i always steal some of my sisters and it really helps and it stops them from coming back too. It is a bit pricey tho like 69.95 for a three month supply or something along those lines but yeah good.

We have a lot of men and young boys coming to our spa. I disagree PDMA they love them! I think you have to make it really easy for young boys to ensure they do it, a good exfoliating cleanser in the shower and an easy to use pimple cream to begin with, and let him get aquainted slowly. I love Peter Thomas Roth for teenage boys, its one of the only brands that cleared my son`s acne up and believe me I have tried them all. You can get it at D-Store.
