Men’s Oily Hair

My partner has very oily and fine hair although the skin on his body generally is normal. He needs to wash his hair every day with a shampoo for oliy hair. Even then, the pillowcase often is left with a greasy patch. Any ideas of an effective shampoo that actually works and perhaps does not require him to wash his hair every day, which I feel is excessive?
