Men’s moisturiser

Hi everyone,
Could anyone please recommend a good moisturiser for a man? I’m looking for one for my husband. I’ve been using the Clean&Clear oil free moisturiser that has salycilic acid in it and it’s been working great. My husband has the same problems with his skin but my moisturiser “smells like a woman” :PP
So anyway, I looked in supermarkets etc but all I found were ones with SPF or co-enzyme Q10, nothing with salycilic acid. I don’t want anything fancy, just something that will hydrate and take care of the breakouts…. Any advice?

Moisturising the skin at night time is the best way to keep the dirt away and to nourish the skin. The best is Aloe Vera based creme that not only moisturises the skin but also removes the tan of the skin.

I bought the Bull Dog original moisturiser for my boyfriend and he likes it. It’s packed with 8 essential oils, green tea, green algae, konjac mannan and vitamin E. – all good stuff for hydrating skin and tailored for male skin. They also offer different kinds of moisturiser to suit your partner’s needs. I think you might be interested in this one: http://au.bulldogskincare.com/protective-moisturiser but as you can see from the bottom of the page there are other moisturiser options.

We have since purchased their entire skincare range. They’re vegan friendly and animal cruelty free. You can find them in Priceline at an affordable price around $20 or less.

If you put the word in between ** and ** (no spaces between the words and the ** on either side it’ll bold 🙂

… I sound smart but I really only learnt that trick a weekish ago haha

skincare junkie I get this Clinique one for MrSparkles as 1. he only wants ‘non-girly’ products and 2. he’s got tough skin that gets dry so he needs something that moisturises too. The SPF is not super strong but it’s good enough coverage for everyday use. It’s not thick and greasy either which is a plus – I must admit I’ve used it a few times too and it’s not bad!!

Please recommend me a men’s moisturiser with SPF. I had a look at the article (thanks Ms Gee) and the only one with SPF is Dr. LeWinn’s Men Men’s Day Moisturiser SPF 15, which seems to have been discontinued as I couldn’t find it in Priceline nor Chemist Warehouse.

Wow never thought to try QV for some reason, what a great idea!!
Thanks for the advice Thatgal, clinique sounds good, my husband used to use it ages ago then stopped because it’s too expensive… that’s why was looking for cheaper alternatives 🙂

my guy uses the ego qv range, he has dermatitis on his nose which causes it to be red and dry but also has a lot of breakouts, he’s been exfoliating and using the moisturiser and it’s working wonders, already after 2 weeks there’s been a major difference

Try Clinique’s M-Gel lotion. I bought it for my boyfriend who has skin that is on the slightly oil side, and he loves it. I have to re-order it for him every couple of months.
