Extra Hair, Ears, Nose and Eyebrows

Can anyone tell me why men, as they age, grow extra hair out of their ears, nose and end up with crazy eyebrows? What is it, hormones I presume??

Last time I was getting waxed (everything from the waist down), I asked the woman about ear candling (ear waxing) and nose waxing, because I’d heard that they can both be done. They do both, so next time my legs need doing, I’ll be getting them done too. I’ll post my thoughts on them afterwards. 🙂

my old lectureer at uni had a forest growing from his ears…poor guy, lukily formy bf i like pulling out the odd ear/nose hair.
his eyebrows are good not too hairy,my brother on the other hand has a seriuos monobrow prob, but he is a now into grooming them and steals my wax and i don’t have to do it for him anymore.

i guess its the same for women, i know when females in my family age we get chin hair, joy joy!

Yes, good ol’ testosterone. And it occurs in females as they age as well.

I think it is hormones. I bought hubby one of those multi-trimmer things with the different heads and combs, cutters etc at Myer. It has bits for trimming his eyebrows, ear hair, nose hair, etc. He’s happy to do it himself now because it’s easy, and I’m happy I don’t have to do it any more. I absolutely detest all that icky excess body hair.
