I’ve just been checking out the website for Paulas Secrets products and they look good and hey, they are for us maturies. Quite like the website too, it gave tutorials on how to apply their products. Paula, the mature lady in some of the videos….gosh she is beautiful. So elegant.
After christmas hope to sometime check more of their products out 🙂

Attention: Tina
I received an email from you this morning, asking for my review for the PS Paula’s Secrets All Day Foundation. I emailed you to let you know that I submitted it last night and that I can see it in my pending section.
Now I’ve received another email from BH asking for my review for the foundation and primer. I responded to the email, saying that I submitted both reviews last night.
I also just received an email with the following: “Congrats! You have just joined PS Paula’s Secrets All Day Foundation and Illuminating Primer. Please ensure your postage details below are correct:”
Can you please respond on this thread or by email to let me know if I should re-submit both my reviews? I do not wish to be kicked off the trial team.
Thanks so much,

I’ve just read the first few reviews for this foundation and it seems that my opinion will be in the minority. So far, the women that have trialled this foundation and primer like the glow. In a world that seems obsessed with the pursuit of glowing skin, I feel like I’m the only person on the planet that does not want my face to glow. I don’t understand how making your face shiny makes it look more youthful, flattering etc. I will have to ask a trusted friend when I’m wearing this foundation to see what she thinks. Maybe it looks better from a distance.

I`m not on the trial team but I had high hopes for this range Petal although I`m beginning to think otherwise. I`m quite fair so the light shade sounds like it might be too dark for me also.
I understand where you`re coming from in regards to `glow`. I don`t mind a bit of a glow on the cheeks but when it comes to anything below the nose line I don`t want the glow accentuating my fine lines.
I`ll be very interested in reading the reviews from all the trial team.

onlyoni, I`m mixing the trial foundation with about 50% white foundation which is quite a lot of white.
I sometimes use a shimmery eyeshadow on the centre of my mobile eyelid or inner corners of my eyes or a hint of illuminator on the tops of my cheeks, but I don`t want my whole face to glow like a light bulb.
I`m probably going to struggle with giving this great quality foundation a star rating. I really like its formula, apart from the glow. I recently wrote a review for a foundation that accentuated every pore, bump and wrinkle, and I only gave it one star. I don`t have the heart to give the trial foundation such a low rating though because it has minimal ingredients and it is not loaded with synthetic chemicals (unlike the other one).

I`m glad the colours good on you Sharon. It can be a bit hit and miss really when it comes to foundations.

Hi Petal , HQ and Jatz – I’m on this trial team but I guess I’m not the chattiest BHer on here! I actually really like the primer and probably less so the foundation though it’s not bad. It just seems a little dark for me and I’m using the lightest shade.
I wear a transluscent powder over the top and this seems to colour correct it.

I hope that the brand becomes popular so that they can release more foundation shades because the foundation is great quality. However, I would love to see their foundation in a version without the illuminating quality. When I look in my magnifying makeup mirror with the foundation that I`m trialling, I`m seeing wrinkles and tiny bumps that were not visible to me before. Just before I removed the foundation yesterday, I dusted my face with RCMA No Colour Powder and that softened the shine and I liked how it looked.

Yes Petal I definitely think they need to expand their color range.

Hey PP well it`s great to know that your on the trial then. I like when they are members that we know here 🙂 Hmmm, that`s interesting that you have the lightest shade yet it`s a little dark. I have that problem sometimes with tanners. I get the lightest and come out darker than what I want.
Going to be interesting seeing the reviews on this one now.

Yes, who is on the trial for this one? I am totally wanting to know more about it when the reviews go in. Maybe they are all non chatters on here…….don’t know. Although if they are living on the Sunshine Coast, they lost power up there since Friday and only got it on today.
