Matte Version Of Fave Lippy Colour?

I thought if there were any other beauties looking for matte versions of loved colours it could be helpful here. It’s just that I love Mattes!

I’m looking for the Matte version of the lipstick Hug Me by MAC. Hug Me is a lustre lippy but I want to find what it in a Matte version, preferably by MAC but any brand could work.

(Currently I’m mixing Honey Love (a matte) with Hug Me to mattify Hug Me a bit.)

    Maybelline have a good range of Matte shades and they are half price at Priceline at the moment. I have one in the shade almond rose.

    I don’t wear nude shades so I can’t help you. Anyway, if you prefer MAC’s matte formula (which I also love), you’re probably better off visiting a MAC counter (if you’re able to) and asking for a colour match in their mattes range.

    I did a quick Google search for “MAC lipstick Hug Me dupe” and some dupes appeared: MAC Modesty, Covergirl Sultry Sienna, Wet n Wild Bare It All, but they seem to have a different finish.

    Keep doing Google searches and you will probably find something. One fantastic website for dupes is Temptalia:
