Make-Up Brushes – Which is Which?

I still get confused sometimes with the brushes, that’s a good tip writing on them with a texta! jillian2016 that’s an awesome pic you posted too – very helpful!

If you search makeup brushes on Google and open the image tab, there are plenty of images like below with labels to help you 🙂

you’re so welcome ashlee brushes without names on them can be confusing. when i was starting out, i would take a little sharpie and write on the end of each brush 🙂 i’m glad i could help you out x

from left-right, i would personally use
1- any kind of powder that you want to use lightly
2- setting my face with powder foundation
3- highlighting or contouring
4- filling in my brows with powder or pomade
5-concealer brush
6- a pencil brush for highlighting inner corner of my eyes or adding depth to my outer v for an eye look or to add colour to my bottom lash line
7- angled eyeshadow brush for adding colour to my crease and blending
8- my favourite kind of blending brush, blending eyeshadow into my crease and just blending everywhere haha
9- powder brush for setting your face with translucent powder or also powder foundationand brushing away an under eye bake if you do, adding bronzer or blush.
10 – i use this style to apply foundation all over my face before blending it in with a round foundation buffer brush or a beauty blender.
