Hi Laura_a1, if you can let us know what skin type you have I may be able to suggest a few if you have normal/combination skin as I use products to suit this skin type.

But here are a few skincare brands I love and use…

    Esmi
    Sensori+
    John Plunketts
    Kora Organics
    Jurlique
    Elizabeth Arden
    Clinique
Clarins – specifically the Calm-Essentiel range.

    😊

For skincare, you can’t go wrong with:

Hamilton, QV, CeraVe, Sebamed, Avène, La Roche Posay, Dermaveen, Aveeno, Eucerin, The Ordinary, Boost Lab, Hada Labo, Bioderma, Neostrata or Neutrogena to name a few.

For makeup, it’s quite subjective but Nyx, Rimmel, Inika Organics and Flower Beauty, bareMinerals and Stila were some of my faves when I was regularly wearing makeup.

If you want to check out Cruelty Free Beauty, you should have a squizz at Cruelty-Free Kitty.

Flower range by Drew Barrymore, good selection of makeup at great prices. I buy it online from Chemist Warehouse.

Gosh how did I forget Nivea. They were just about my first brand for body lotion in the little tin.

Jergens, Sukin, and QV are all great brands with affordable products.

2nd this comment! No matter what brand of mascara I try, I always end up back at EOH`s Goddess Mascara. Their pencil liners are so creamy & easy to apply + their metallic liquid liners are fun.

I second most of these recommendations (dermalogica is excellent, antipodes is very good, Maybelline has some good products [mostly their mascaras, some of their formulations are the bomb! Go for Lash Paradise by Maybelline if you want a awesome mascara ♡♡] Estee Lauder is pretty good, the ANR serum is fantastic) and I have a few others to add: Trilogy (their rosehip oil is fantastic), Swisse is an excellent budget friendly skincare brand and has something for every skin type, Origins have a few good products (their ginzing moisturiser is my favourite), Alpha H is amazing if you want more serious results, L’occitane if you want to really treat your skin, Ole Henriksen is excellent as well (I love the cold plunge mask and C-rush brightening creme)…I better stop now lol I could go on and on =) I am not much of a makeup wearer hence the massive skincare recommendations haha =)

Thank you for these recommendations. I have a dermalogica cleanser that I haven`t used and I just bought it, so I will give that a go

Hiya! Because I’m obsessed with Nude by Nature in makeup and now..drumroll…skin care. On a budget? Wait for the 40% off sales on their website, Big W and sometimes Priceline.

just seeing this now Laura_a1 – welcome to the forums.

There are so many products on the market these days and it does get confusing. Not knowing your age I can suggest some make-up brands that suit any age. Like Maybelline, MCoBeauty, Covergirl, Rimmel, Australis.

As to skincare, it depends re your age and skin but Olay is a great brand and also Boost Lab, Neutrogena.

Come and chat in the forums and check on this thread also that you created.

All great suggestions Jatz. I’d also add Nivea for skincare.
