Hi Laura_a1, if you can let us know what skin type you have I may be able to suggest a few if you have normal/combination skin as I use products to suit this skin type.
But here are a few skincare brands I love and use…
Esmi
Sensori+
John Plunketts
Kora Organics
Jurlique
Elizabeth Arden
Clinique
Clarins – specifically the Calm-Essentiel range.😊

For skincare, you can’t go wrong with:
Hamilton, QV, CeraVe, Sebamed, Avène, La Roche Posay, Dermaveen, Aveeno, Eucerin, The Ordinary, Boost Lab, Hada Labo, Bioderma, Neostrata or Neutrogena to name a few.
For makeup, it’s quite subjective but Nyx, Rimmel, Inika Organics and Flower Beauty, bareMinerals and Stila were some of my faves when I was regularly wearing makeup.
If you want to check out Cruelty Free Beauty, you should have a squizz at Cruelty-Free Kitty.

I second most of these recommendations (dermalogica is excellent, antipodes is very good, Maybelline has some good products [mostly their mascaras, some of their formulations are the bomb! Go for Lash Paradise by Maybelline if you want a awesome mascara ♡♡] Estee Lauder is pretty good, the ANR serum is fantastic) and I have a few others to add: Trilogy (their rosehip oil is fantastic), Swisse is an excellent budget friendly skincare brand and has something for every skin type, Origins have a few good products (their ginzing moisturiser is my favourite), Alpha H is amazing if you want more serious results, L’occitane if you want to really treat your skin, Ole Henriksen is excellent as well (I love the cold plunge mask and C-rush brightening creme)…I better stop now lol I could go on and on =) I am not much of a makeup wearer hence the massive skincare recommendations haha =)

just seeing this now Laura_a1 – welcome to the forums.
There are so many products on the market these days and it does get confusing. Not knowing your age I can suggest some make-up brands that suit any age. Like Maybelline, MCoBeauty, Covergirl, Rimmel, Australis.
As to skincare, it depends re your age and skin but Olay is a great brand and also Boost Lab, Neutrogena.
Come and chat in the forums and check on this thread also that you created.
