False Eyelash Glue and sensitive skin

Today’s Christmas in July giveaway prompted a question I’ve had in my head for a while now…

Does anyone else get contact dermatitis from eyelash glue?
I had a reaction once and since then the skin on my eyelids have been so sensitive (even micellar water results in dry flakey skin!)

If anyone has similar issues to me, I would love to hear what your favourite false eyelash glues are.

Hey! When I first started wearing falsies (years and years ago) I found my eyes getting red and irritated very often. Found out I was allergic to latex which is in a lot of lash adhesives. I’ve tried about a dozen brand of glues from cheap to expensive and my favourite one at the moment is the DUO Latex-Free Brush-On Lash Adhesive. I find it’s super gentle on the eyes and I haven’t had any reaction to it. Lashes stay on all day too.

Hope this helps! I’d love to hear what glue other people recommend too 🙂

Thank you for this recommendation! I have sensitive eyes but need to learn to apply false lashes, so this is very helpful!

wow, I had no idea lash adhesives contained latex!
I`ve never had a reaction to latex before but I think I`ll have to give the DUO one a go, doesn`t seem too pricey either which is brilliant.

Thanks so much for the recommendation! 🙂
