Estée Lauder double wear dupe

I love Estée Lauder double wear for my oily skin, however it seems to break me out.
Does anyone have a dupe?

Have you tried Estee Lauder Double Wear LIGHT? It’s supposed to be a more lightweight version of DW but it’s still longlasting. Maybe the different formulation won’t irritate your skin? I have oily skin too and DW LIGHT works great for me. Try and get a free sample pot and test it out.

I heard MAC Studio fix foundation is very similar, both have very full coverage.

I recently bought the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation from Crush Cosmetics in Australia in the palest shade. I bought it because my bottle of Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup had become my daily foundation (in addition to some other expensive foundations) and I wanted something cheaper for playing around with makeup looks, hanging out at home etc. I have dry and mature skin (I’m in my fifties) and the Wet n Wild foundation is mattifying in some areas; especially on my upper lip. It doesn’t have much slip so I need to use a primer with it. I’m still experimenting on how to make it work for me – I plan on trying it with a few drops of rosehip oil.

Good to see you on the forum duality.

I literally just ordered the wet n wild foundation from the States 7 days ago, am patiently waiting for it to come to me…… I’ve heard such good things about it and it’s so cheap.

I have tried all the dupes and there is nothing remotely close except the Wet N Wild Photofocus foundation. It has that same stick all day like paint properties as the DW, doesn’t need powder as it dries down to a dry matte finish as the DW. The only thing it doesn’t have that natural matte finish like the DW it’s a little more dry, would really suit oily girls. I’m not oily so I just add some facial oil before I apply to overcome this. I still prefer the DW and quite a big user of it but the Wet N Wild is so darn close.

I found that the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation was very similar. Though I had the opposite problem as that one broke me out and Double Wear doesn’t!

The all nighter foundation makes my face look like a plaster with cracks on it lol. It`s so fake heavy, thick and doesn`t work with sunscreen. It applied lovely but one hour in I look terrible. Peeling, seperating and cracks.
It does work great with just a primer on but nothing else, so I use it for special occasions / nights. Such it lasted me a while.
Its in that “”I never use much draw””
      Hahahahahahah
I personally don`t think its much like the estee Lauder double wear at all.

I have not tried this foundation, but many people say that the following foundation from Designer Brands is a dupe:

Etude House Double Lasting Foundation is probably the closest dupe.

From what I have read so far, there is no dupe for EL DW. It breaks me out too (and I don’t even have oily skin). I wear it only occasionally.

My sister in law is the opposite and says EL is the only foundation she can wear . I have heard DB foundations are good quality just like EL and are found at pharmacies.
