Review: “I’m one to still struggle with liquid eyeliner which doesn’t make it easier for my monolids. I’m learning to and so far this is one of the easier liquid eyeliners to apply. it dries quickly and comes out easily if I stuff up without giving me a sore eye. I hope to master the winged liner one day!” – Bettina44

Review: “The price is so affordable and when I tried it on it looked so good! The colour is pigmented and it glides on so easily. I don’t really have a steady hand but I always try to do a nice winged eye and this pen really helps create that look. It is a fine tip pen so you can create a very thin line if you want a more understated look or you can build upon it to create a more bold look. Whether you’re a pro or a beginner with liquid eyeliner I find this to be fantastic.” – Miss19
Key features:
- Ultra fine tip
- Richly pigmented
- Non-patchy formula
Available at:
- $11.37 from Priceline

Essence Liquid Ink Eyeliner
from $5 at Priceline
Best for: Cheap thrills
At only $5 a pop, this is the biggest steal on this list, but this fine-tipped, extra black pick is by no means less impressive because of its small price tag.
Review: “It’s not shiny at all, it’s a matte black finish. It doesn’t budge. But it comes off easily with the right makeup remover, and what I do like that if you want it to be smokey and you get to it right away with a smudge brush that works too. The only qualm I have is that the teeny tiny bottle runs out too fast. But that’s just because I use it everyday.” – Nezbabes
Key features:
- Really affordable
- Matte black opaque finish
- Fine-tipped applicator
Available at:
- $5 from Priceline
Maybelline New York Tattoo Studio Liquid Ink Eyeliner
from $11.99 at Priceline
Best for: Liner that lasts all day
This long-lasting eyeliner formula promises 36 hours of sweat resistant and smudge resistant wear time.
Review: “I use this product as part of my daily make up routine and find it super easy to apply, It stays put for most of the day without any finishing sprays and I also find it super easy to remove at the end of the day, I have tried more expensive brands and all different types of gel pot, pencil and liquid liners and I find for the cost this one cannot be beaten. I would definitely recommend adding this item to your make up bag for those times a wing is a must, the brush is nice and thin with a pointed edge which means you can easily build on your wing or just line the top lid with a thin line.” – Tara133
Key features:
- 36 hour wear time
- Sweat, fade and smudge resistant
- Precise, micro-fine tip

Are you a fan of liquid eyeliner? Did your favourite make the list?
Not a fan of liquid eyeliner. I prefer a pencil. I would experiment with a budget brand like Essence.
I dont like liquid eyeliner either and prefer a pencil when I use eyeliner
The more Natio products I try, the more I like them. Their liquid eyeliner looks like something I want to try.
Yes it looks as though it is worth a try and priced good too – I also like natio products
I’m currently using a Natio exfoliating body bar & it smells LUSH!
Wow that bright pink lipstick on the main image is everything!
I love winged eyeliner but can’t do it on myself so I don’t buy this product.
Love the lipstick too.
Bold lippy all the way! I love that shade!
I need to stick to pencil eye liners. Liquid eye liner isn’t something I’m good at.
I have stilla and fenty gifted, haven’t used any as I can not apply that thing!
I have never tried any of these as I have always used a pencil type -They look as though they would be easy to use though
I haven’t tried any of these but I’d like to try the Natio.
Can someone else do my eyeliner please?
Some Great Liquid Eyeliners but now I use a Brown Eyeliner Pencil also it’s Waterproof.
I love liquid eyeliner! Still trying to perfect the cat eye!
I would love to be better at this. I have only used a pencil and did not like it.
I HATE using pencil eyeliners! I’ve used a few on my lower lashline, but I don’t like them on the top.
I’m a big fan of liquid eyeliner. I mostly buy Face of Australia – that’s a good one. The essence looks good, too – I might give that one a go.
I’ve just read all the Essence eyeliner reviews – yes! That’s definitely one to try! NezBabes’ full review was especially convincing!
I’ve never used a liquid eyeliner; a pencil is better
I’d like to try a coloured one now
Something I’ve never mastered, liquid eyeliner.
Not something I use.
Some great liners on the list! I have heard amazing things about Essence liners.
Not for me. I did try one once and it was a disaster. I have always used a pencil and I am more than happy with the results I achieve.
I love liquid eye liners. They are the best for me. Haven’t tried any of the suggested eyeliner’s
No they are all new ones to me too
I don’t use a liquid liner very often, I have been reaching for pencil liners lately
I don’t own liquid eyeliner. I just use the pencil. It is so easy to control.
I find Maybelline to be quite shiny. The best I have tried is Lancome. So easy to use.
Have been using the master precise liquid eyeliner since I was a teenager
Thanks for the info
I’ve gone back to using a pencil. I prefer a smokier liner these days
I prefer to use a pencil for a more subtle smudged look, but I have tried a felt tip liner (from Eyeko) and that was pretty good.
I find it difficult to use it , I do love the look thou
I love liquid eyeliner with a thin brush,
nice to read member reviews too
I have never used liquid eyeliner
I have, its so much more intense than a pencil
I prefer pencils but these are good value indeed
I’ve used a pencil eyeliner in the past but could never get the hang of a liquid eyeliner. Nowadays I don’t use either.
Mascara running is my biggest problem
If only I was any good at using these…
