products for mature skin?

Hi, ladies

i had mature skin (combination skin) with pigmentation, wrinkles, uneven skin tones and large pores. I’m 45.

I’m a bit confused, do I need to use all these products — BB cream, primer, foundation and concealer etc, for coverage?

And what brands would you recommend for mature skin?

I’m using Just a concealer and Garnier BB cream but the coverage was not enough for my skin.

Thanks a lot to all experts! 🙂

Paula’s Choice have some great products for sensitive skin and they have samples available.
At the moment I’m using Skinstitut, it’s done wonders for my skin (I’m 43).

I’m only a few years older than you ( 49 ) and mainly I have dry skin ( body area drier ) and find some anti-wrinkle creams are still too heavy for me . I was foruntate to be part of the Olay trial so maybe you can try their day or night creams which I think may even be specials at CW or supermarkets. It is a great quality cream to combat wrinkles and lessened lines off my neck . I wonder if the pigmentation and wrinkles are from sun exposure ? , so put sunscreen on if outdoors. Nowadays I find less makeup for me is better, so currently I have BB cream and eye stick to hide my undereye circles and blemishes, a good cream to use day/night , foundation for outings, and translucent powder to set my makeup. I use eyeliner everyday as I look terrible without it and only use eyeshadow and blush for a special evening out . Lipstick or balm every time I walk outside the house . This is more than enough for me . Good luck .

Thanks H. Queen, my friend also recommend Qlay as she had very dry skin. However, I`m just worry as I had a lot of Milies on my face, might be too heavy for me. I use less makeup too, just BB cream, concealer, lipstick and eyeliner. Thanks a lot for your advise. I might try the Qlay if there`s sample to test out! 🙂
