DAISO Beauty Products

I’ve fallen in love with DAISO. They have a great range of asian-made beauty related products and most are priced at only $2.80. I’ve been trying a lot of their skin care products such as the charcoal cleansers and peels, sleeping packs, face masks and Hyaluronic Acid gels, and have been really pleased with the results.

I was wondering if anyone else has tried DAISO skin care products, or which ones are your favourites and would recommend. 🙂

I have tried couple of their compact face powders few years ago. They were ok for the price.

Oh wow, I’ve never considered buying beauty products from Daiso, and i LOVE this store. Some great recommendations here I will have to check out!

I personally have never tried Daiso skincare products but I have tried their makeup and I just have to say that I wasn’t a huge fan.

I always have the urge to buy it but always have a doubt. Afraid that the product is this cheap and it might be harmful to my skin. But after seeing your post, I think I should give it a try.

I love their brush cleaner but only the pink bottle one. It’s so amazing!

I bought the Daiso soft facial brush for 324 yen in Japan. It is so soft and gentle, love it! Looks like this (not my blog):

The brush cleaner is Amazing. It’s about 100 times better then the mac brush cleaner and it is so much cheaper!

I’m an avid user of the daiso charcoal blackhead mask, their eyelash glue (it dries clear, in the white tube with blue writing) and their false eyelashes (both invisible and non-invisible band).

I adore the mask – it’s really made a difference in my t-zone area in terms of the visibility of more pores and how ‘clean’ they look. I don’t really have problem skin at all (just the odd hormonal pimple) but I’ve definitely noticed a difference in the look and feel of my nose after having used this once a week for the past 6 months or so.

The eyelash glue is also fantastic – it adheres so well to the eyelid/lash and it works just as well as Ardell if you pack it on a little bit more (it is $2.80 after all). It is latex based though so you might want to avoid it if you have a latex allergy.

The eyelashes are also great. I dance competitively so I go through eyelashes faster than a drag queen, and the lashes in the black packaging with gold writing are fabulous for stage! I use the orange and green ones – they’re really dramatic without looking super ott, they easy to use and apply and they make it look like I actually have eyelashes!

The invisible band lashes (I use the orange ones) are also gorgeous. I use them for formal occasions and they look super natural whilst also adding a little extra ‘oomph’ to your natural eyelash.

With all Daiso eyelashes I find I can use them around 4-6 times (for context, after I apply lashes I curl them with my natural lashes and apply another coat of waterproof mascara) before they need to be thrown out – just peel the glue off after each use and put them in a little case 🙂
