Where do you buy your beauty products from?

I recently just made an online purchase of cosmetics and skin care from Chemist warehouse as they had a lot of products I use at 50%. My products took over a week to arrive and some of the boxes were damaged. I am very disappointed and looking to change where I buy my products from. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I’ve never bought online from Chemist Warehouse but I have never had any issues with damaged items when I purchase in store with them. They have really great deals most of the time and that’s mostly where I purchase my drugstore products except if Priceline has it cheaper. My high end products I always purchase from Mecca or Myer, mostly Mecca. They are really amazing and do returns as well if you’re not happy.

I get all my Make up, skincare, haircare, body care and fragrance and accessories from the Estée Lauder corporate/staff store. It’s all top ended luxury populate brands and products at prices more suited to the supermarket, so it makes sense to buy from the corp store. Plus the fact that the stock changes constantly means I’m always getting exposed to many new and different things and can trial many items with no hard feelings I’ve wasted money on something as I got it so discounted anyway. And I love that tyheee are many of the resoectedand trusted brands we all know and love permanently there! I’m way too scared to shop in (names will not be mentioned) well known and popular online beauty stores after hearing about parallel imports and being products not of the optimum quality it should habe been! Discovering the corp store has been the best thing ever and my friends can’t believe how I am able to have so many beautiful products on my low budget, nor do they even believe the crazy low prices I pay for them too! Haha.

Peters of Kensington are always good though their beauty products are a bit limited.

That is expected from packaging Nicole, which is very unfortunate and disappointing which happens too many times .The good thing is CW should be everywhere so see if you can gather all the damaged ones and pop over to your nearest store for a return or exchange and sure they can help . I would give them a call first . Good luck 🙂

I live in a regional area so I buy almost everything online. I buy budget products from Priceline and I’ve never had issues with them. I love Adore Beauty for their excellent customer service, prompt delivery and great range of products. I also buy lots of natural-based skincare from iHerb.com in the US. I buy lots of beauty products from TVSN, the home shopping network, and I’ve never had problems with them. All my orders arrive quickly.

I went through a period of ordering from Beauty Bay and Look Fantastic in the UK. I always received my orders in two or three weeks. Since then, I’ve seen lots of complaints about their customer service and delivery times which has put me off, so I haven’t ordered from them.

In recent years, I’m buying more of my natural-based beauty products from online stores such as Nourished Life, Shop Naturally, Flora and Fauna, Beautiful Because and other similar stores.

There is one store that I’ve ordered from – ry.com.au – that many say has a negative track record due to their courier, which I think is Fastway. I’ve ordered from them and my package arrived the next day.

Adorebeauty.com or instore at Priceline are the 2 main places I purchase beauty supplies from. I find Kmart handy for makeup pads/remover and that sort of thing. I do my shopping at Coles and they often have good specials on my basic everyday items (bought Micellar water for half price yesterday).
