Strawberry Net. Real or Fake?

I know that there are a few other topics about Strawberry Net and the authenticity of their products, I was reading through them and really just wanted some more up-to-date information.

I have purchased off of Strawberry Net before and was happy with my purchase (this was a few years ago) but I know there has been some controversy lately about the authenticity of their products.

Have you purchased from Strawberry Net?
Are you certain that you received authentic products?

I am looking to buy a perfume and I don’t want to spend $200 just to find out that it’s a fake.

Opinions/feedback would be helpful!

Thanks xox

From my experience they sell genuine stuff, but depending on your luck you could be getting new or old stock. For example, they still sell some of the Estee Lauder products which have been, as far as I know, globally discontinued for years, for example:

    and

    http://au.strawberrynet.com/skincare/estee-lauder/idealist-even-skintone-illuminator/140034/#DETAIL

I also found that the RRP shown is never the true RRP. Some of the products are more expensive than Australian Retail.

Yes they are legit! My mum is addicted to Strawberry Net she gets a delivery from there every couple of weeks. They stock some great products and do occasionally have great deals or promotions but i find for day to day products there is cheaper places to purchase from which will depend on exactly what products you are looking for.

I’ve purchased some Dermalogica products from them the postage is usually pretty fast and the boxes always arrive in perfect condition with a little bow around them. I’ve absolutely loved every product i have purchased from Strawberry Net.

Hi, I have rescently bought some perfumes from StrawberryNet as they were at at a great discount so I bought 2 fragrances from Chopard Happy spirit and Lalique Amethyst, (I have never had any problems with perfumes… allergies or anything), after reading reviews I decided to buy these. Once I got them in the post, two days later decided to test them aplying a little bit on my forearm, that day I thought I was feeling a little “sickie” but never thought the perfumes were to blame, I thought it was something I ate. The next day after I shower, I decided to wear Lalique Amethyst and almost inmediately I started to feel ill, my tongue and my lips became numb 45 mins to 1 hour later I was feeling horribly ill my whole body was starting to feel numb and felt all this synthetic tates coming into my mouth and was feeling like vomiting, I took a shower again to wash it off, the synthetic smell would not go away, had to take another shower, at that point decided to take some detox tea and some charcoal tablets several times that day to cleanse it out, it took me just about all day to gradually feel better, and even the next day my tongue and lips still felt a little bit numb

But this is not all, I thought that, must be because of the perfume color of amethyst that I most be reacting to it. I decided to test chopard happy spirit bouquet d’amour, same thing happened. I decided that there most be something very wrong with this perfumes, they are either fake or they are way long expired. I looked for the expiration date but could not find any.

I wrote them explaining this situation a few days ago, they still have not reply.

Has anyone have any similar experience?

Oh, how awful for you, Carmen! Can you do a ‘spot’ test and try to see if it’s definitely the perfumes you’re reacting to?

I hope they get back to you ASAP. I’ve been buying from them for years and haven’t had any problems, save once when it went missing in the mail but they helped me sort it out without issues.

I have been using Strawberry.NET.com for over two years now, I have had a couple of issues mainly to do with damage in postage. Both times I was issued with full refunds and I did not have to return the product, they accepted a photo as confirmation that they were damaged. I like them and will keep on using them. They do send stock from Hong Kong to Australia, just something to keep in mind because several products I purchase have brochures that are not in English.

Grey market stock can be old product, not always fake, that’s how company’s get away with saying ‘genuine’
    I recommend Cosmetics Fragrance Direct

No grey market!! All purchased from the licensed Australian suppliers ie same as Myer and DJs 🙂

A man answered that sounds like he’s not in an office he sounds like he is at home in the bed …I started asking him about the price he’s asking me if I cleared my cookies and cashe..I told him yes and nothing is wrong with my computer it’s only the price “I have an IPAD” he started to get mad and he told me well just go read the website “the terms and conditions” I hung up on him and told him this is a fake business and he told me they been around for 10 years but anybody can make a page up and send old or fake watery products. So I don’t recommend anything on Strawberrynet.com

I don’t believe I have ever had a fake product and have been buying for years, including skincare, makeup, haircare and fragrance. I do not purchase unboxed items though.

I did have an issue once with their tardiness in getting products to me and I received excellent customer service with profuse apologies and a very large refund on my next order. They honoured it even though I didn’t make the order for 6+ months. Great service in my opinion.

Currently offering 10% off all Australian orders until 30 January. Good time to buy.
