Hi, I just saw your post and though it was a ong time ago, wondered how nutrimetics went for you? I’ve been with several companies beofre. Like you, I wanted to earn extra money and have more flexibility. I have finally found the company that has wonerful products and where you can make top money….Nu Skin. No pressure to meet certain targets before you get your own products at wholesale. 30% to 40% off products even if you bought one item a year!!!

I currently am a consultant but i am giving it up. Love their skin care range but sadly their prices have hiked up within 2 years of joining, and can no longer afford to pay their prices, even their make-up too (even with the discount doesn’t suffice fora small order), so yes you do need a fairly big order if you want to purchase things for yourself and get a bigger discount.

Like a few comments here, you do have to run it as a business to make serious money, and spend your own pocket expenses for samples if you were to do parties. Honestly i didn’t have the motivation to continue with being a consultant.

    Hey Rpear

I’m with you on making the extra cash, especially after all the spending over Christmas and New Years.

At the moment, I’m trying out something similar but not identical to Nutrimetics.(i.e. you dont have to meet sales targets or make massive orders to get discounts)

The company is called LR Health and Beauty Systems. They are based in Germany with their AU Head Office in Melbourne.

Its pretty much as simple as this. Spend over $249 in one transaction and you qualify for a 30-40% discount on all of their products for life! (I’m a big fan of their makeup). People who don’t spend over $249 buy all products from me at retail price.

    Hope this helps!

I’m with Hooha, you really have to run it as a business to make money. I did it for the discounts too as I used the money I’d made, which wasn’t much at all, to order stuff for myself but after a while it got too hard. You really have to be able to get out there and drum up business but I do still get emails from the lady who got me into it years ago and she takes orders by email from her regular customers so once you’re set up it can get easier. She even has a company car so she really went for it but for her it’s a business and not a hobby or side project.

Depending on who and what you teach you might make better cash in hand tutoring for a few hours a week.

Hi Rpear, I did it for a while but the truth is if you want to make serious money you have to work pretty hard for it and do lots of parties. I pulled the pin when they increased the limit for consultant discounts and I couldn’t get my own cosmetics cheaper unless I put in a fairly large order. To be honest, I didn’t have the level of commitment required to drive it as a business.
