Maslow & Co Korean beauty box

Until recently, I had no idea what the Maslow box was. It was only through reading forums about Korean skin care that I read a few comments about this elusive and mysterious box and had to turn to Google to become enlightened.

WOW! It sounds amazing and I just had to join up after I saw that the next beauty box is from Korea and contains a whopping 10 products for $58 (couldn’t afford to buy the whole year up front).

I have to say, the boxes sound amazing from what I have read on BH and there is a lot of excitement around them. I can’t wait to receive this box in just 11 days!!! I’m madly trying to diminish my current hoard of skin care products in preparation for my box’s arrival and I am counting down the days in anticipation, wondering what we will all find when we open the eagerly awaited products!

Obviously there will be the essence inside and everyone seems to think that there will be a sheet mask – how could there not be?! What do you hope/think will be in the beauty box? Do you think it will be only skin care or some make up products too?

Argh, I just can’t wait to receive mine in the mail. Thanks to my fellow beauty heaven members for teaching me about the existence of Maslow & Co XD

    Blackkitty How did you find the Papa recipe mask? I just took mine off and my skin feels awesome!! I think I will be ordering some of them! So far these are definitely my favourite of the box!! I haven’t tried the clay one yet.

    Ethelinde Have you tried the papa recipe whitening honey mask as well?

    The ingredients look identical so I am unsure what the difference is between the two.

    I’m going to try my first sheet mask from my Maslow box tonight for a nice pamper session while I watch a movie. I think I am going to try the Papa Recipe honey mask after your recommendation Ethelinde; I’m looking forward to it. Can’t wait to try some more Korean skin care products from my box!

    I started using the other products last night, so will keep up the use for awhile before supplying a review, but I have enjoyed them so far and my skin looked really lovely this morning.

    If you haven’t started on any items in the box, one of my favourite sheet masks is the Papa Recipe honey bombee mask so I highly recommend that. Very generous amount of essence!

    I have heard that the Korean beauty products are quite amazing and also quite difficult to find in Australia so this is a great introduction to so many items not otherwise available generally. I have looked at the website and would love to win a beauty box too, just to compare how these products work on Caucasian skin and if the results are favourably noticeable. I know a few young ladies who are keen users Korean products and go out of their way to purchase these, claiming they are better than what is normally available in our department stores.

    hmmm very interesting . once i realised there was some seriously effective and good quality products overseas (asian brands) i felt so silly thinking they wouldnt be suitable.
    i have pale skin that needs brightening and pigmentation that needs fading , exactly what these brands are maketed for

      retro-glam I thought the same but a few years ago when I was traveling I swatched some BB creams and was shocked they were so good and I`ve been hooked ever since on Korean products. I could never find the right shade (pale, even NC15 isn`t perfect but close to my tone) but virtually the whole Korean market is targeted towards this colouring, I`m happy, now I can buy and wear bronzers, something I couldn`t do with Western ones lol. And their skincare has helped my skin enormously with all it`s actives, my freckles are almost gone and my skin has never been better.

      Yes, I have received it XD I haven`t tried anything out of it yet, I can`t quite decide what to try! Maybe I will have a facial tomorrow night 😉

    When should the products appear in our account to be able to review? I’ve used some of the sheet masks so I’d love to review them while I remember what they were like!

      It normally takes a week or two after boxes are sent out 🙂

      You will get an email alerting you to it, so make sure you check junk folder incase it goes there.

      Otherwise you can log in and when you can get the reviews up it will guide you through the special task (which has been to send a link to a friend, they don`t have to sign up).
      As you complete each task/ review it shows up as completed 🙂

      Oooh, I don`t know actually, I`ll have to find out. I haven`t tried anything yet. Did you do the 7 day mask challenge? Do you have to post pictures on social media to complete the Maven task do you know?

        Oh I don`t know what the Maven task is…I`ve been doing the seven day challenge, but I haven`t shared it to social media or anything aha but I do have photos of it

    Wondering if I should stop using all my regular products and just use those in the box to see how they compare. Obviously I will still need a serum and a scrub, but it looks like it will be face mask heaven!

    I’m excited about the snail mask!!

    So I had to go and read all about the May Coop essence (again) and it sounds great. I need hydration!!! My excitement just went up a notch again. No new updates for the last two days on the tracking… still ‘in transit from Perth’. Ooooh!!! The good thing is that if it does arrive next week when I am out I can just go pick up from the depot which is really close!
