Farewell to a much loved skincare must have.

Oh beauties,i don’t know how to say this,BUT…..it has been confirmed by Clariosonic that they will be ceasing manufacturing as of 30 /9/20 for good.
I am a member of a group on FB that had this announcement today, and for all of those of us who loved this device,it is a true surprise and a “where do i get my heads from now ? ” moment, and possibly shows the fact that we have changed the way we cleanse / exfoliate our skins since this brands beginnings back in 05.
So beauties, what are your thoughts ?/ what will you use now ? / what do you think will be the future for cleansing devices now (and how do you compare those, like the Foreo or perhaps against a chemical cleanser / exfoliator ? )

Not sure if this helps, but I purchased an Olay Regenerist a few months ago and they don’t sell replacement heads anymore unless you buy a completely new device! I went into the Shaver Shop and took the cleaning head with me and discovered the Braun heads are exactly the same and work perfectly. I have no idea what the Clarisonic looks like so this information may be a waste of time.

I’m upset to see Clarisonic go too! I was relatively late to the Clarisonic bandwagon and mine still works perfectly well so it’s a shame that I won’t be able to buy replacement brush heads anymore. Having said that, I had been using it less and less since I purchased a Foreo Go (travel sized version) to try. I’m pretty happy with the Foreo and don’t have any intention to buy the full sized as it’s still working too. It’s much left abrasive than the Clarisonic brush heads so better for sensitive skin.

I used to use Clarisonic for years but last year changed to team Foreo (thanks bh RR!). I was having issues getting the brush heads for about two or so years as more and more suppliers stopped stocking them. I really liked the Clarisonic, but since switching to Foreo I feel that the latter has been more gentle on the skin and a lot less fiddly as there is only one part and it dries so quickly compared to brushes. Sad to see them go though!

Oh wow, I don’t use a clarisonic but they are a classic, iconic brand and I didn’t expect them to cease manufacturing at all. I think they do have a lot more competition now with so many brands making cleansing devices and jumping on the ‘gadget’ bandwagon.

I think their will be a big rush of people looking to find replacement heads and stock up before they are gone for good.

I have a Lumiskin cleanser but haven’t used it for a while, simply because I have been using a creamy cleanser and they work better with cleansers that foam up. When the weather warms up and my skin is less dry I will switch cleansers again and go back to it. I don’t think it does much to exfoliate my skin and still use a exfoliant a few times a week, it has a massage head on the opposite side of the bristles and I’ve been using that a bit more lately.
