DIY Jewelry?

Hi Ladies!

Just wondering if any of you make your own jewelry and if so where you get your stock/items from? I’ve had a look at a few online stores and I guess the prices are reasonable but i’m wondering if any of you know some little ‘online treasures’ I should check out. I’d hate to buy a bunch of chains and trinkets only to find out I could have got a better bargain!

Decorations are made with your own hands, of course, it is always beautiful and individual. It is great when there is a desire and the opportunity to create a decoration with your own hands. To do this, you still need to be a creative person with great potential.

I get stuff from etsy, ebay and craft stores. I don’t make jewellery very often, so when I get inspired, I just source the stuff quickly from wherever I can 🙂

Are you looking for precious metals to work with?
I am not sure which city you are in but in Melbourne I have gone to http://www.koodak.com.au/main.php city store and they had what I needed when it came to precious metal clasps etc. I think that they also are beginning to sell online.
I go somewhere else for gold wire but I cannot think of their name right now.

I’m in Melbourne so that’s really handy if I ever get to that point.. I’m looking at making more ‘disposable fashion’ jewelry so I wouldn’t consider any precious metals just yet.

Etsy is a great site for supplies, I buy my hair accessory supplies and jewellery supplies from there.

Oh I will check that out too, didn’t even think to look there!

Unfortunately for you, this isn’t that magical place.

    Thankyou.

I love reading the spam links, purely for their beyond terrible English skills. Even Google translate could do a better job than that!
