Bella box rant

So I officially hate bella box. I just wanted to share with you guys my experience with BB.

I had bella box for 7 months (June through December) and I have canceled it this month. It was such a disappointing experience. I’m glad I gave them a chance and that it’s over now.

I mean have they not seen what marie clare’s the parcel is packing!?!?! Now that’s how you do a beauty box. A lot of full size products (usually 3-4) and plenty of high end deluxe samples.

I hate that every month different boxes are sent out so you might get a “dud” box which I have gotten every time. And I see other people’s box contents on social media and blogs and I think why didn’t I get that!?!
The value of the boxes I have gotten are always low compared to other bella box members even though we pay the same amount. That makes me feel ripped off!

The thing I hate most is that they only include one full sized products and the rest are just sachet samples and unusable junk. So I feel like I’m paying $17.95 for one product and that one product is mostly from the drugstore which I can get for half of what I’m paying bella box.

Another thing I hate… ok, so I hate a few things about bella box! I hate that they include samples I can get for free. Why would I pay for something I can get for free!?!
Recently I placed an order at chemist warehouse and they send out samples (so does priceline and a lot of other stores) – I got 2 Palmolive samples and I remembered that I got these in a bella box!

But anyway I can now rest in peace knowing bella box will never get a cent of my money. I hope $125.95.
I can only imagine the nail polishes I could have bought for $125 at chemist warehouse right now. Now that’s money well spent.

    Wow, thanks for sharing your experience with everyone. I’ve been researching quite a bit on different beauty box subscriptions being new to this. I won’t be joining bellabox for sure. Thanks Pink_Sugar, onwards and upwards!

    I’ve often wondered about subscribing to these sorts of boxes, but feel like I would end up with a couple things I like/use and then a whole heap of crap that I wouldn’t. I can’t do smelly things and have very sensitive skin, so I just feel like I’d end up wasting my money.

    Smart ladies, Josella and ray_jay! You were wise enough to cancel after few boxes unlike me!
    I do have a habit of giving people and things more chances than they deserve, it’s a big problem in relationships!

    I have subscribed to The Parcel and have received on box so far. I would have gotten it sooner but it was sold out!

    So excited for the autumn edition. Does anyone know when it comes out? Or when it’s shipped out.

    I only got two boxes before I canceled. I thought I was done with sub boxes and then the parcel came out. I don’t see myself canceling that any time soon. Do you get The Parcel?

    I canceled straight away. Never went back.
