Antiageing devices

I’d like this forum to be dedicated to anti ageing devices

It seems this is the year that this area is taking off now.

So if you have any questions or comments or thoughts or have tried one or brought one let us know…

Theres a new Dermasonic with LED light therapy. I really want! Costs $80.

    Dermasonic+ Sonic Cleanser & Anti-Ageing Device

This is better value though if you want to buy it, as giftsets are currently 30% off.

Wow, can’t believe it’s been 6 months already! That’s insane!! Seriously, where has the time gone!?

Still using the dermasonic and still very happy with it. I’ve been sleeping in in the mornings so I’ve been a bit slack just using it at night lately.

My skin is still showing great results. It’s way less congested, much more brighter and even. But this could also be due to my double cleansing that I’ve also recently been doing. Using an oil cleanser at first and using the dermasonic with a foaming cleanser for the second cleanse.

Breakouts have significantly reduced compared to when I first used it. Still get the monthly hormonal breakouts though 🙁

Fine lines have softened which I think is due to the more thorough cleanse and using the flip side to massage my serums in. ATM I’m using TO Niacinamide and Buffet. Still not using it to moisturise.

So far, I’ve only needed to charge it twice!

Doing this routine has made my skin the best it’s ever been. I won’t be giving this device up anytime soon.

I saw your post on the DB devices. They look pretty good too. Did you get one of those? How did get on with your konjac sponge?

No worries Ray_jay! Day 6 now and the breakouts are beginning to clear up. Skin continues to be brighter and more even-toned. Still very happy with the device.

Oh freaky, thanks for sharing. I’ve seen this a lot but I’d be keen to hear your thoughts. I am using a konjac sponge atm which is working pretty well.

Never heard of a konjac sponge before and just did some reading about them. They sound very impressive Ray_jay. The vegie itself is packed with so many nutrients and antioxidants I think it could pass as a superfood! Glad you`re happy with it.

I`m on my 4th day using the Dermasonic using it morning and night to cleanse and to apply serums. The directions say whilst using it for cleansing, use on the forehead and chin 20 secs and cheeks 10 secs each, so that`s what I`ve been doing.

I`m noticing a few breakouts around my chin. I`ve read that this is normal as all the gunk is being removed. Previously, I was using either my hands or a manual brush so I imagine there`s a bit of build-up of gunk there. The rest of my face isn`t experiencing breakouts atm

To apply my serums (B3 serum and copper peptide serum), I just put the serums on my forehead, cheeks, and chin and use the flip side to gently massage serums in. I think the serums are absorbing faster and I quite like the feel as it works the serums in, like a mini massage. My touch of luxury for the day! For each serum, I work them in for a minute each as I do with cleansing. I hope that`s not overdoing it. I`m new to the world of electric facial devices so I`m not sure what or if there`s such thing as overuse of the device. I haven`t used this with a moisturiser yet because of that too.

I`m impressed with the ease of use, both benefits of cleansing and massage, immediate brightening result and a more even skin tone (I have some red spots from acne) and less congestion, its easy to clean, no need to buy replacement heads and its compact and comes in a small case convenient for travel. So far, so very good!

Just picked this up from Priceline. Originally is $80 but picked it up for $48.00 for the goodie bag promotion. One side is for cleansing and the other side is for absorption of serums and moisturisers. I used mine for the first time last night. Loved It! My skin felt so clean and I found my serums and moisturisers absorbed very well too. Its design makes it easy to use fitting perfectly into your hand and the shape moves around the contours of your face easily. So far so good.

    The reviews seem positive too.

This is the glopro needle device.

It is a skin needling device of 0.2 I believe with an in built led light. So two in one. The led light is red and yellow.
